Last night I participated in some pretty awesome California loving. Like the below Sharks fan said, the last time I was this excited about a Ducks win, they were playing Iceland. Sorry Vancouver.

Sloppy Seconds!!!

Afternoon all!  Weird weather here in NJ.  It's been foggy the past few days...what's so weird about that?  Well, this area of the country is the least foggy in the whole USA.  Yesterday, I left my office in Lakehurst and the sun was setting...clear weather.  Got about 5 miles east, and it was like I was in London...hard to see anything.  A little trivia-Lakehurst, NJ (site of Hindenburg disaster) is 4th or 5th on the list to land the Space Shuttle, due to the lack of fog in this area.

When we had our home built in 2004, my wife ordered a fancy faucet for the bathroom in the master bedroom....the sink that came with the house would not accommodate the fancy faucet, so we went with the "standard" faucet.  Back in August, we replaced the sink and put said faucet in, only to find the tailpiece (for the drain) was missing the mounting nut underneath.  After having 3 or 4 different nuts that didn't work, we ordered a new tailpiece...which was backordered...tonight, when I get home, the tailpiece will be there....get to use our bathroom sink again! YAY!

Here's today's pic....enjoy

Have a great day...and also a "smart" day...the person who wrote the above caption thinks veggies grow in cans....

oh my gosh i don't usually apply to the astros this frequently, but after i submitted what i did last week or so, i got another email that they're looking for an entry level design artist and that a portfolio must accompany a resume. i seriously thought, "they're playing chicken with me." so i spent all morning building up the best portfolio i could come up with and i just submitted it with a slightly more serious cover letter:

"i need you and you need me. my portfolio reflects the way my mind creates, more than my abilities with graphic design. i am a hot stove of great ideas and while words are my main media, i am a regular macgyver when it comes to creating. i am entering year 7 of my design job and am ready to stretch my legs and work in a field i can actually relate to. a field where my work can sparkle and thrive. a baseball field.

(rimshot)"

and in case you're curious, nyce, yes i did include the team thong logo in my portfolio.

i may never ever get this job, but right now is the closest i could ever feel to not getting it! and they can see inside my portfolio which means they can see inside my brain and whew.....if they're willing to pick qualls back up, maybe there is hope for me.

Well, this just happened while I was looking for one of the best Barney scenes ever, (it's a dance video):

"I found it blatantly racist that the only black kid on the show couldn't dance until Barney gave him "magic shoes." Suddenly he had enough talent to dance with the rest of the kids.

1 out of 1 members found this review helpful"

:| people are ridiculous. EVEN if there was a racist undertone, wouldn't it be the other way?

I forgot to mention that there's an error (or huge faux-pas) in the FE Corp logo, because you should always try to tie things, word, graphics together like that.

hahahahahaha, whoever gets it wins a prize.

(Leigh can't play, because, well, read her post up there.)

Offense

Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks coach: Garrick McGee- UAB head coach.

Running Backs: Kolby Smith- former Louisville running back. Was with Petrino at WKU.

Wide Receivers: Lamar Thomas- played at Miami; was with Petrino at WKU. Good recruiter in Miami.

Offensive Line: Chris Klenakis- Iowa State’s offensive line coach.

Defense

Defensive Coordinator: Todd Grantham- leaving position as Georgia DC to come to Louisville.

Defensive Line: Clint Hurtt- came to Louisville with Charlie Strong. Will remain on staff under Petrino.

Outside Linebackers: L.D. Scott- played at Louisville and coached the defensive line at WKU. Also is Petrino’s son-in-law.

Inside Linebackers/Special Teams: Tony Grantham- LB coach at Navy for 6 years. Todd’s brother.

Defensive Backs: Terrell Buckley- played at Florida State. Has coached at FSU and Akron

Louisville's new coaching staff.  I never thought I'd see the day we'd nab anyone from Georgia.  Take that, monkeys**ks.

I'm exhausted today, so that's all you get.

Yeah, I vaguely recall being taught if not that specifically, something similar (certainly the fact that all those products will add up to nine).

Also, happy birthday to AJ Foyt, who I'm convinced will outlive us all.

My life has been a nightmare lately, and I promise one day I will post that nightmare and share it for those of you stupid enough to read it.  However, in the meantime, Calgarysucks a lot and yes, I know they are rebulding, I am just tired o the BS.

I think I might be drunk, bit it has been a long time since that really happened, so I am not sure.

MY SON MOVED OUT TODAY INTO HIS OWN BASEMENT APARTMENT!!!  I am devastated.

I do not want to talk to anyone again until he moves home.................

I met AJ Foyt  when I was a kid (his son rented a house next door to us year round so he could be here during horse racing season. He came into town for his granddaughter's birthday).  I vaguely remember my parents having the "how much time should we allow the kids to spend around him?" conversation because we were pretty sheltered and his language is so colorful.  I'm pretty sure bourbon is coursing through his veins in place of blood, which makes him my kind of people.

I can relate with your son moving out, I know how devastating that can feel.
It'll get better for you.  Ya'll can still visit .
He's still in the same town, right ?

I'm already having separation issues with Alex, he graduates in May and is moving from Texas to Orlando, Florida in July to go to College.  Depression has pretty much set in ...

He is in the main city, while we live several miles out of town in a hamlet.  It's about a 20-30 minute drive, but he starts work at 8am and I rarely work until 10 or so.  He was been concerned about me having to get up so early for him, as he doesn't drive, then me working until 6:30 and daughter working until 8.....

I get to sleep in an hour later tomorrow, but I still miss the lil f.....errr young man. :)
