Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

I am on the season finale of season 1 of Justified. Those eps seem so short. Good sh**. And, that tall, lean drink of water.... mmm.
Watched Sleepy Hollow finale...those bitches. Dammit. I heart this show.
I think I really like Black Sails.
I see Kevin Costner has entered the Liam Neeson movie genre. I'll consider it for comedic value.
I have nothing else since all I did was watch tv, play video games, drink and sleep.

Oh, it's gonna snow...twice in one year here? I feel very South Park right now. And I'm pretty sure the world will end on dec 18, 2014. you're welcome.

Hey Q'ers....been kinda busy....so haven't been posting too much...

At the home front, another episode of "As the Stomach Turns" took place over the weekend....that's all I'll say about that for now..

Haven't watched the Olympics yet....will most likely catch some tomorrow

For Stoney and all the Broncos fans, today's pic is for you...

Have a GREAT Monday....I hope mine gets better (it HAS to...don't know how it can get much worse)

1) The skip of the Norwegian Men's curling team looks like that jerk Jeff who managed The Max and was trying to bang Kelly Kapowski
2) the deadspin link about the girl and her boyfriend running through the snow in Portland made my weekend

3) the follow up interview when they found her made me want to marry her

4) Did I mention curling started this morning?
5) I got a new washer and dryer this weekend. Taking my old 30 year old set out was a bitch. But these new high efficiency things, i tell you what, make almost no noise. Tis my life
6) In other Olympic things I love: The finish line at the end of the biathlon sprints kills me. It's like a triage unit, except nobody's ever coming to help

This biathlete's (lol) contacts

the apartments outside my office window had some really spooky s**t happen this weekend! there was a dude walking around and saw a second-story apartment door open at 4am so he went to check it out and found a woman who'd been beaten to death and her body was surrounded by religious cult stuff. i am never ever ever ever ever working late again.

i have been really busy at work lately. it's weird.

today is dress like a fairy day, but my look says it's more like dress like this chick day

It was an archery weekend! My husband's birthday was Saturday and all he wanted to do was go shoot his bow, so we went and shot. I finally set up my "new" arrows (I bought them months ago; they've needed tips, nocks, and fletches) and MAN they're awesome! I think I need to buy a couple more dozen. I set the fletches with a helical jig, and they turned out pretty well. However, they're 3" artificial feathers and I want 5" real ones so I'll be refletching them as soon as I can order myself some. The first 6 that I did, I used glue, which sucked, because apparently glue doesn't dry well on aluminum shafts (heh). Then I discovered fletching tape -WOW, it was amazing. I'll be using that from now on. I also finally got to use my new bow. It's glorious. We went again yesterday. The muscles in my back are a tad sore from shooting so much, but it's worth it.

I need to finish my blog today. Remind me.

As soon as I give Pacioretty some dap he almost gets killed, lol.

He didn't return to the game, but he says he's okay for Sochi. We'll see, I guess? I also like the fact that Bobby Ryan is kinda in eff you mode for being passed up in the first place so we almost got this glorious black-ginger as a replacement.

Black gingers are currently on the rise in sports. [See also - Jimmy Graham] It should be a factor during the draft process like an intangible. "I like his work ethic and his freckles. He's a steal here in the 3 rd round."

There needs to be a 30 for 30 about these athletes.

I'm a HOR-RIB-BULL haggler. I once tipped a guy at a market in Marmaris, Turkey which led to total confusion about how many little weird trinket things I wanted to get. I also have NO clue what the conversion is for most currency. I may have given him 10 cents or enough for him to retire? I forgot my trinkets on the Lazy Boat cruise because I was drunk. FYI the wine is as strong as the sun.

Shareefa!

(I think that's "Cheers" phonetically? Again, I was pretty drunk.)

Hey all!!!! Guess what?

It's F****NG SNOWING AGAIN!

It's "Family Day" in my province, meaning I got to sit around my house, do some laundry and give myself a Mani/Pedi and get paid to do so. My daughter lost her iPhone Saturday night after a horse bolted on her (she's fine, a little shaken up) and she found it Sunday afternoon around 3:30 on top of a snow bank.  It works perfectly fine.  WTG Apple.

I have to say that I am far more enjoying the NBC Coverage of the Olympics.  They are showing everyone.  The Czechs, Russians, Australians, Japanese, Fins..absolutely everyone.  I watched CBC this morning and saw mostly Canadians.  I'm disappointed in the singular coverage.  In the Men's moguls, a competitor went down after a jump and had a scary crash.  I saw THAT on NBC, but CBC made no mention of it.

I'm cooking a ham for dinner tonight :)

Today was a day of uncomfortable truth telling. Unfortunately, I was not the one doing the truth telling.

It's funny how a league of supposedly macho manly men freak out so much about anything poking the hermetically sealed bubble they so desperately want.

My favorite NBC commentator remains the cross country/biathlon guy. His screaming makes Gus Johnson sound like Joe Buck.
