OK.

I want Clowney in a Falcons uniform come July. They can draft whoever after that. Yeah, I know it is hockey season (Go Kings = OMG), NBA is playing, NCAA tourney is around the corner and I'm all about that stuff, plus baseball is about to start and I dig that, but the Falcons are the peas to my carrots.

I have been nuts busy and when I'm not, I am wore the **** out. I am playing with three bands at this moment and trying to work up a bazillion tunes. I don't know about y'all, but that's like trying to learn a gazillion songs. Looks like one band may fade out soon, I am OK with that happening. I mean lawd have mercy. surprise

We were booked for the Clemson Blues Festival in April but had to bow out due to the keyboard guy being out of town that week. I was asked to give a guitar clinic that Saturday for about an hour, I said I would. I've been working on an agenda, thinking I could play a little and BS a lot, then the drummer last night told me that Mac Arnold is wanting to play bass with me during the session. Mac is a Blues legend, especially around here. Played with James Brown, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, A.C. Reed, and the Temptations (among others) through the years. So no pressure there crying. Besides all that stuff, he was gigging on the 'Soul Train' TV show for 4 years which catapults him to bada$$ status automatically. And I'm the one to teach the clinic?! Ha. I'm doing it anyway, it will be a blast. He's a great dude and I will be able to mark off 'picking with a blues legend' from my bucket list. I must confess, I am as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs about it, though.

I've got a few outdoor gigs lined up with new band, beginning in the spring and through the summer. I love those, gets me all fuzzy inside.

That's about it. Hope all is well, miss y'all and the noodling around in the Q. Don't count me out yet.

Later.

PS- here is the guy's website, wish me luck on this one.

i really only like mayonnaise for the purpose of making something a little wetter - like the other bread slice, or tunafish.

also, my black friend (who loves mayonnaise on everything [gag me with a spoon]) calls it mynazz. the first time she asked me to "pass the mynazz" was an amusing misunderstanding.

It is incorrect. I know a lot of white people and only a few of them like mayo. I don't like it at all. It's disgusting.

Hola amigos y amigas! I had some crazy dreams last night, I think some people should stop invading my dreams. When I woke up my back was sore. Rough night. Is this a mayo dispute? I use it all the time.

#12 | 218 days ago

My Samoan friend (whom I was able to go see last night, after not seeing him for 3 years!) eats mayonnaise like it's a side. Grilled Spam (which is wonderful), sticky rice, scrambled eggs with cheese and bell peppers, and a dollop of mayo. I can't watch him eat.
You can't eat just one....
#13 | 218 days ago

Also, I'm about as pasty white as you can get, and I hate mayo. I'll use it in my egg salad or just a tiny film of it on bread before I slather it with mustard, but that's about it. Ugh vomit.

Re: Food-Feud-Tuesday

I'm in on Mayo & mustard. Ketchup is out, especially on hot dogs. Ah hell nah!

On a related note: I like to rhyme and I like beats funky. I'm spunky, I like my oatmeal lumpy.

ANNNNND I will eat up all your crackers and your licorice. [citation needed]

1. Nope on hot dogs, but surprisingly okay on fries. (Damn you Belgians!!!!)

2. KFC raised with the double down. Taco Bell called with a Dorito taco loco thing, THEN Subway re-raised with Fritos on a BBQ Chicken hoagie, forcing Taco Bell to go all-in until 11 A.M. Very strong play.

Now I fully expect McDonald's to see it with some kind of Breakfast Bacon Big Mac.

Ok, I'm putting work aside for a second here.

Condiments:
Mayo on sandwiches, burgers and in tuna salad (unless I get a little rambunctious and just mash an avocado in there)
Mustard also applies in these cases and it is an occasional go to with fries
Ketchup, good with fries and on burgers. If I see you putting it on a hot dog or especially a brat, I will end you
Frank's Red Hot. I put that sh*t on everything. It's stupid good when mixed with......
Ranch Dressing. The fat person's staple condiment for a reason. Can I get extra ranch for these curly fries? How about some of that ranch and frank's red hot on my side salad. mmhmmmmm.
Horseradish Sauce. Mayo's f*ck you cousin. see mayo usage

Really, a waffle taco Taco Bell? Just lay it down throw another waffle on top, throw some egg, bacon and cheese in the middle and you have a quaffledilla. Trademarked in 1996 by Stoney Industries. Taco Bell has some other things to figure out (from what I saw, it would take about 15 triple XL nachos to fill Kevin Love)

oh, one more thing that has been grinding my gears lately..
is there anyone here who wasn't putting chips on their sandwiches by the time they turned 6 years old? Seriously, crunch a munch is right up there with your Dan Fogelberg and pac man video games in terms of innovation

I was putting chips on my sammies as early as I remember...but I've since graduated to jalapeno cheetos on them now. And on burgers (with ranch). Sweet lord.

Color me cracker.  I love mayonnaise.
#27 | 218 days ago

I said it before...I'll say it again....YUCK to the mayo!  Yes, it's in chicken salad and tuna salad....but as a condom-mint?  Gotta be mustard.  And I agree with Stoney...ketchup does NOT belong on hot dogs or brats....hell, YELLOW mustard doesn't belong on brats either...spicy brown, or grey poupon....
The only thing i prescribe is cranberry and vodka...

No Mayo, only Miracle Whip.

A friend of mine's truck died this morning.  Her husband is a politician who is gone a lot, and it was really cold this morning, and her truck is a new one with all the electronics, so that might be why it died (Mine did same thing last winter), but she was posting for help just to pop the hood.  I'm so embarrassed that she isn't self sufficient.  This sh** just isn't something I even think twice about.

My daughter just found out she can take "Equine Studies" starting next year, for four semesters.  She is seriously on cloud nine.  Mad at me for something (she's a teenager) but still on cloud nine.

I really need to get to a NASCAR race.  Really.  Seriously.

mmm ranch.

Stoney, sometimes i put ketchup on a brat, then I regret it cause why the f*** did i do that, I don't even like it, then i eat it anyway...own know.
Thanks for not lying about your mayo usage... that's the normal way, I think. It's how I use it, but maybe even less than  normal on sandwiches. mmm  ranch. I still prefer texas pete, but frank's will suffice. speaking of, Bk and those fries on the burger commercials makes me wanna punch the tv. They can f*** off. Also, ew all those breakfast options up there.... If you wrap a damned waffle (idk why it's damned) around eggs and sausage and then drown it in syrup, I'm gonna puke at the table and knock your teeth out. it's like the mcgriddles treachery all over again. ew. I haven't been to panda express in almost 6 years... people still eat there? crazy.

thanks yall for participating in participation ptuesday.

(oh god, of course doc would be all grey poupon, pf*** off with that bottle of thick vomit mixed with mustard.)

I think it's awesome we were talking about Mayo and Mayock in the same thread. I don't know why that makes me laugh.

Y'all put mayo on your burgers?!? EW. Trever loves his JBC's so sometimes when we make a quick stop into Wendy's and I can't figure out what I want, I'll have him get an extra one for me...and I always forget they have mayo. Always. I take one bite and gag. And then I starve...gross.

We buy those little tiny jars of mayo and they last for months (good thing mayo keeps) unless I make tuna or egg salad. The amount I use on my other sandwiches really doesn't count because it's mainly a foundation for the mustard. My parents were the same way...I thought that was normal.

Don't really like mustard unless on a hot dog, and only if it has ketchup and cheese as well.  Miracle Whip and thousand Islands dressing on a burger. Yumm
