Hello everyone..

How about those games last night? Holy hell!! Go Lumbus!!
I'm still determined to try and watch a quarter of an NBA playoff game this year. Anybody have suggestions for which series to tune into?
Avs need to play 8000x better tonight. I'm debating whether to watch the game at home, at a bar, or at the Pepsi Center on the massive screen there tonight. Depends on how the rest of the day goes and how much alcohol I may need.

Work is f'ing crazy pills. The one thing I love about what we do is the variance of work we do. This week's most interesting portions were the job walks Monday and Tuesday at a level IV and level II state prison.

So, I was just in 2008. Don't ask how I got there, I don't even remember but I was looking at the possibly closeted gay movie star menfolk conversations. Mentions included James Franco, Tom Cruise, Jason Statham, John Travolta, Vin Diesel, Brendan Fraser, Ed Norton, Mike Myers, The Rock, Aaron Eckhart, Christian Bale, Hayden Christenson, Wentworth Miller (which was no secret at all, really), Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrence Howard, Will Smith, and James McAvoy. Comments have kept me entertained this morning. All (cept Vin Diesel) were very good options. Congrats 2008 for a job well done.

In 2014, I'm eating pizza and salad right now, trying to decide what year I want to visit next.

i got to play captain bad guy all night last night. the dogs got fleas, so when i got home from work i shaved sam the dog and gave them both dunking baths and then dusted the whole house with borax right in time for rockets tip off which sent the boy into a "i've been waiting all day for this game and now i don't have a place to sit! i feel like you don't care at all." which i promptly responded with something uber-chicky about how getting rid of fleas is waaaaaay more important than some dumb basketball game.

then there was the issue of the microwave.

this is the one we have. it's his from college or high school or whenever. a long f**king time ago. it has a bell. like a bell that gets hammered when the knob snaps to zero. not even alarm clocks or kitchen timers have bells anymore. anyway. this thing smells like fire every time it gets used now. so i had to see this mess

oh and i mistook a request for philly cheesteaks as a request for pizza sloppy joes so that was a real let down too.

by half time, everyone was beat emotionally and physically, so i made peanut butter and honey spoons for all three of the big babies and then everyone was all

in time for us to see the rockets lose game 2 at home.

Warriors - Clippers (Splash Bros. vs. Lob City) they hate each other and have to two of the most exciting OMFG heat check guys in Steph Curry & Blake Griffin. (google for highlites)

Even if you don't watch the games you need to kinda check in and watch Chuck mentally eviscerate Shaq. #marvelous

Added Bonus: The yummy-mommy Mrs. Curry may be in the house.

I'm familiar with Steph Curry's work courtesy of last year's Nuggets debacle. And see, I just don't have an appreciation for Blinger Rogers. Much like the way society has become immune to gun violence thanks to wonderful video games, I too have become immune to any feelings caused by dunks.

I will give this and the Grizz-Durant series a shot

Solid choice for the KD factor alone. Grizz are Nyquil but really effing good. A good comp. would be the NJ Devils at the peak of their "trap" success.

Although I'm not a big believer in "momentum**" especially as it goes from series to series, but I also DO NOT like the fact that my Habs could be off for as much as 11 days(!?!?!) before the start of the next round. Yeah a few guys can get healthy, but I really think routine, high energy (physically & emotionally), timing, focus, etc. are the real HUGE intangibles during the playoffs.

**Momentum seems more like a placebo (or faith) in that it doesn't really matter what we believe (on the outside looking in), it's what they believe. It's a "thing" but it's not the most important "thing."

lol. Because I actually didn't care for the story/articles and didn't want to bring attn to that. I just liked the comments, and those were probably a little too much for some. It's better this way.

The Kentucky Derby is almost here!!!  There have been two major events with the Derby Festival so far...Thunder Over Louisville (largest fireworks show in North America) and the Marathon/Half Marathon.  Tonight starts the hot air balloon festivities...I'm not going tonight, but I'll be hitting up the balloon glow tomorrow night and the race Saturday morning.  I love this time of year.

I like "About a Boy" and I like that show about the blind dad that follows it that I can't remember the name of, but stars Jenna Elfmann.  NOW I want Jenna to play the mother in "About a Boy" instead of that extremely annoying Minnie Driver.
Sorry, she only reminds me of an extremely annoying Minnie Mouse character with a british accent.  I half mute my TV when she talks.

Come to think of it, although I like the story line, I don't like the kid either.  Like the  neighbor dude tho. cheeky
