W/E F/E 5/10. and today. (Edited 05/12/14 09:17AM by kobe_lova)
Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Hiii. I'm just getting here. Mah bad. Happy Mothers Day to all of the wonderful ones!!

I hope you all who still have sports to care about are having a good sports weekend.

I'm ready for it to be August.

Get some rest.

cause no one was here but me and Jen, i'm recycling

I think I'm gonna start New Girl from the beginning. I've only really seen this season and it's horrid but Schmidt is funny as sh** (i mean he doesn't write the lines but his delivery is straight cash money) and I just wanna see every scene he's in... I may also skim Veronica Mars for this reason.

okc/clippers...i assume it's going 7 because it needs to. i like almost everyone on both teams which makes it odd to watch.

I cooked a fantastic beef roast yesterday, it better be some left when I get home.

Kiss someone's mommie this weekend...

The Rockies lost a series for the first time in their last 7 this weekend. To the Reds of all teams. They've been fun to watch this year and they absolutely mash. Good times.
I've got some ideas I need to express about the "Coors Field Effect" that a majority of people get wrong and usually tend to throw out there because they are incapable of making any independent thought. Much like my favorite hockey people who are adamant on their analytical stats overtaking the eye test.

Even though my only dog left in the NHL hunt is the Bruins I am enjoying the hell out of this 2nd round. And am really hoping the Pens blow game 7

The NBA is still in their playoffs as well

I played golf on Saturday. Had an uneven round of 86. Did par 7 of last 10 holes though so things are looking up.

This is Coors Field this morning. Yes it's May 12th

He's only in Veronica Mars the 2nd season, I think...and he's nothing like Schmidt. He's dorky and awkward, and kind of a pansy.

Yesterday was amazing. I was so spoiled rotten it's not even funny. The spawn gave me diamond earrings ("they're REAL, mom!!"), the mister gave me a gorgeous sapphire necklace..which was shocking, because he's vowed never to buy me another necklace as long as we live. I break them. Apparently he got a warranty of sorts though. ffs. Then someone dropped off some pretty little flowers on the doorsteps of all the moms in the neighborhood. So sweet, right??

It was a gorgeous day, and usually I would have wanted to spend it outside either shooting or hanging out at the beach, but I opted instead to leave the doors and windows open and lay around the house doing absolutely nothing. We watched the Mariners lose, watched the Sounders lose (HUGE), watched the Rangers beat the Penguins, and then I decided since both of my teams lost, I was watching the Super Bowl again. In the meantime, my husband and daughter made the best dinner EVER. Grilled steaks & bell peppers (my fave), asparagus, and twice baked potatoes. Guys...those potatoes...my  husband's so hired.

I'm spoiled, y'all. I'm not quite sure I deserve it.

I hope you all had a most fantastically wonderful Mother's Day! (And I hope you boys treated the great mamas in your life well.)

You kinda described Schmidt, but it's cool, I'll just look and giggle.

Up until 2 minutes ago I thought Jim Parsons was a straight man playing a gay man on the Big Bang Theory. 0-2 on that one, evidently

I sent my mom a card.

But I'm secretly flying into Lincoln to see my family this weekend so it's cool.
Another family holiday, bring on the cocktails...
