Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

What an amazing Trevor Lewis goal! How did it get by  a Vezina/MVP/ConnSmythe/Captain America ....the NEXT ONE goalie like Gibson.

It's hot, my nose is continuously running, and my throat aches something awful...........but THERE WILL BE A GAME 7!

Without a dog in the Stanley Cup fight, I'm with you, Becky.  Go Kings.

Second?!?

What is it with Josh Reddick and Wham!  Although I do want to go all Paris Hilton on it and say, "That's hot."

Haiiiiiiii!

SO last night I mentioned that I was tired before 10:30, which is unusual, and someone asked me if I was getting sick so I said no, I think it's just stress. It was kind of an off-the-cuff comment, because "what do I really have to stress about?" but then as I started to unload different things going on in my life I realized...holy sh**, it IS stress. So Ima whine for a second.

1 - I'm moving in a month. Our move-out date is 6/18. While I love exploring, just the THOUGHT of moving stresses me.
2 - We have yet to hear about the house...that may not seem like something much to stress about but...uhm...
 - 2a - If we get the house (and hear something soon), we have to fix some drywall, pump the septic, and fix a large window before we move in, as per the VA
 - 2b - If we do get the house, we have to have closing costs on top of all of the costs for #2a, on top of adding steps to the deck and filling in some holes around the fence so our dogs don't dig out and get run over. (We have savings, but we dont' know how much all of this is gonna be)
 - 2c - If we don't get the house, we have to find somewhere to rent by 7/1 at the latest and continue the house hunt
 - 2d - If we don't hear whether or not we get the house, we have to find somewhere to rent by 7/1 at the latest
3 - Regardless of anything with the house we're trying to buy, when we move we have to fix all the little stuff HERE and clean after the movers leave (between 6/18 and 6/21). That stuff always is the worst part of every move. Nothing HUGE, but we have door trim to replace, and I just hate to deep clean.
4 - The day we leave here after cleaning/fixing, we head east, as my cousin's wedding is on 6/21 (and going "back home" is always stressful - being pulled in 157 different ways.)
5 - I may or may not have jury duty 2 hours away from my house starting this Monday for 2 weeks - I have to call every night to find out
6 - I have new responsibilities I'm taking over with work, so learning a lot of new stuff...lots going on there
7 - My daughter is getting bullied at school, and there's a fine line between empowering her, and giving her the attitude that she's better than everyone else, subsequently turning HER into a mean girl. I'm struggling with that.
8 - The Ducks have to go to Game 7 (okay that one is silly, but piled on with everything else?)

I'm just going to be glad when June's over, because all of this stuff will be done. I'm trying to keep a good attitude. I mean, it'll all work out for the best...I know that. But no wonder I'm exhausted without knowing why!

I think I'm gonna go buy my first Mariners tickets of the year.

As if Californians weren't dramatic enough already. Throw in the NHL playoffs and holy cow sandwiches.
In John Gibson's defense, he has been pegged as the next American hope in net for about 3 years or so. He really is a real-life Steve Rogers

Today may be busier than normal but it's ok, I am taking tomorrow off to play in a golf tournament. Put on by my buddy's bar to benefit the Denver Dumb Friends League, my favorite local charitable cause (That's where I got Iceman).

Milan Lucic had that look of a guy mixing steroids and cocaine last night in the handshake line.

I keep seeing all the damage from the fires in SoCal. That sucks. We see that too much here every where and it's always heartbreaking.

Anyway, have a great day everyone!

I knew it I knew it I knew it!
NBA Bulletin: Clippers Coach Doc Rivers was fined $25,000 for criticizing officials after Game 5 vs.Thunder.
If you ask me Rivers was justified by criticizing referees for their blatant disregard of proper officiating which catapulted in the Clippers losing the crucial second round contest. NO WAY should Rivers be fined!
Also I'm Sick and Tired of this LONG stoppages during the games to get the call correct when it never happens. Whenever the officials get punished 'you call me!'
Don't get me wrong--I like BOTH teams, but we need to get it right!!

Is it considered retail therapy if it's online and it's tickets to a game? I feel better. We're going to see the M's take on the Tigers at Safeco on 5/31.

Woke up this morning still feeling like crap.  Went back to bed and slept another four hours and woke up feeling waaaaaaay better.  It's cold here today, so I cleaned the inside of my huge living room window, trimmed some dead branches off my ficus tree, cleaned the Brita filter water jug and looked for news on the fires in CA.  I guess I'm not supposed to get updates.

(Watching a story right now about a softball player nicknamed Hooch (after the dog in Turner and Hooch).  She plays for the Huskies.  Love the story!!!)

Q'rs
Whew, end of year makes me tired...seriously. I am running here and running there and there are baskets to make {not weave, come on} but buy stuff for and wrapping and bow tying and things to bake and order and oh em gee, this is why I do gift cards.
Oh before I forget, I thought I saw last week Marcus did an FU for something something and I can't find it, so if someone would be so kind to send me the link or whatever, yeah thank you in advance. Cheers!
Happy Graduation Ryan!
