I don't know about y'all but I pretty much always have a favorite ONE movie or book out of a trilogy or longer series. (I also usually have a least favorite...the 2nd Lord of the Rings, The Order of the Phoenix, Ocean's Twelve, etc.)

So what are yours?

I don't think I have a favorite book-wise.

My fave HP movie is The Order of the Phoenix, which seems odd to some.
LOTR is just one huge ass book, which I'm pretty meh on but my least fave movie was The Return of the King.
My least fave Rocky is 3. whatever, hush. and 5 doesn't count because it doesn't exist in my head.
Fave Die Hards are tied with the 1st and 4th(?) (Live Free and Die Hard one).

oh, my least fave Batman's are the Michael Keaton ones.
Least fave : Rush Hour 3

Oddly, my favorite of the Hunger Games series was the 2nd one..usually those are my least faves. Catching Fire was awesome, and I couldn't WAIT for them to come out with the movie. I wasn't disappointed.

i've never finished anything i've started - ergo all of my favorites-of are the firsts. like harry potter (book and movie), hitchhiker's guide, jaws (movie)

least-favorites-of are the way they are because i just jumped into a trilogy (movie) thinking i'd be able to fill in the gaps myself. those are bourne supremacy, matrix 2, the star wars where yoda kicks one dude's ass, and harry potter 4 (movie)

I think The Return of the King was my favorite...besides the fact that the ends lasted like 45 minutes.

Bourne definitely isn't a jump-in series. I love all those, but Supremacy is the worst of the series... sooo Star Wars? lol @ HP4. gah

That's like asking me: Which is my favorite kid? I just can't {shrugs}
I pretty much don't like any of the Batman movies after Michael Keaton
and I don't like any of the Superman movies after Christopher Reeves, prolly cause I refuse to see them

I'm going to do older-ish video games.

Fave firsts: Deus Ex, Bioshock, Star Craft (if you include DLCs & expansion packs as the 2nd in the series)

Fave seconds: Half Life 2, Marathon 2 (loosely based on what would become the Halo franchise), System Shock 2

Fave threequels: Grand theft Auto III (game changer), Myst III: Exile, Unreal Tournament*

SO with you on Fast Five = Fave and Tokyo Drift = least fave. OMG I hated that movie. And Lucas Black...just ugh. I'm offended that's even affiliated with the Fast & Furious series.

If all the View Askew movies were counted as a series; although they're a bunch of interconnected movies with some of the same people (Jason Lee) playing different characters in different movies. My Favorite would be Mallrats my least favorite would be (Controversial opinion alert)  Chasing Amy.

Sooooo reading all these comments has me wondering how I even fit in here??

Loved F&F Tokyo Drift, because of Han.  One of my fav characters ever.  Really don't associate it as a F&F tho.

Have never seen a HP or LOTR movie, probably never will.

Loved Hunger Games, but after that the other two were a disappointment.

Wait!! I do agree with Jen on Batman, and Nyce on Lethal Weapon!

Oh I do have friiiiiiiiinds!

My sibs and I fight all of the time about which Batman is worse ("best"). Val Kilmer's or Clooney's. OF course, it's Clooney's! But we love them both sooo much. Probably a hate watch thing.

I still haven't seen the Godfather 3, but I never got all the hype behind the first one. I do think the 2nd one was spectacular.  'member when I saw it last year or something and then wrote yall a fantastical review? I do. Was great.

I came here to say, and ended up distracted, my fave X-Men is all of them with possibly a little extra to First Class. And Wolverine, and the first one.. omgosh.

The first Jurassic Park and first Transformers (Shia movie), and Pirates (Dead Man's Chest).

i'm just entertaining myself at this point since no one else is around...
