Opera vs. Oprah
Dallas78 said he might do 1 hour of Oprah over 1 hour of Opera.  I questioned his manhood.  He said catch 22 which it might be, but I think anything over Oprah.  Basically for Guys Only, but Im givng the women an option also.

Oprah is hypnotizing America somehow.  I haven't figured out quite how...but I'm convinced that she is.

Let the Fat Ladies Sing.

(actually that might not be nice of me to say)

This was a very easy choice for me. I can't stand Oafrah.

#3 | 2514 days ago

I said MIGHT, this is hilarious......by the way I voted for Opera....but sitting through an hour of Opera would really suck. I'm telling you it's not that easy of a choice.

See, when you watch Oprah- you just mock her the whole time while at the same time envying her power and wealth.  At least that's how I do it.

Both would put me to sleep for an hour, but there is the small chance Oprah has an actual decent guest on (however rare that might be).

Wait didn't she "RETIRE"?  Didn't she do the big ole retirement thing on TV and then did a big comeback?  If you retire, GO AWAY!!!!  Especially when she was dismal in the first place, but no, now she is back and worse then ever!!!  I would easily sit and watch real talent(opera) over someone with the gift of gab and real honest to goodness luck.

not me.  I think I would not want to sit through it.  I like classical music a LOT, choral music rocks my world but.... the more I think about it, the more I think I shoulda picked Oprah- aka Opie to my parents.

I have worked in opera and also seen a few performances- truly its one of those, dont knock it til you have tried it...it can get cool with sword fights and such...but then again I love shakespeare which is a bit of an oddity I know...

i'm not knocking it.  i'm just one of those people who hates to get dressed up.  I can watch Oprah in sweats and my slipper, the opera people would frown upon that.

anyone notice how close Ali came just now to admitting to being odd?

i believe at the end of the day, whoever is on the losing side will have their manhood revoked.  I'll even let you switch back to oprah so we can be on opposite sides.

I would take 1 hour of Oprah over Opera anyday.....at least I do my time watching from the comfort of my own home, go to the bathroom if necessary, get something to eat, and not have to dress up to do it.

I chose opera. I think I could actually enjoy opera.

As for Oprah, I have seen her show and didn't like it. But it goes beyond that for me. I have a strong personal hatred for Oprah. Through my wife, she has tried to lower the overall quality of my life.

Oprah, only if the show topic is good. If her and Dr Oz talk about poop one more time im pretty sure i'll have to change the channel.

I'll sit through an hour of Oprah live, during tax season.  Might go home w/ a new car.

I haven't let my TV stop on a channel with Oprah on it in over 10 years, she is similar to "The View" with rosey on it, similar to any of those phychic shows, they just do not make any sense and yet here she is the modern day billion dollar woman with absolutly nothing of consequence to say and doing nothing for no one.  SHE SURE PUTS ON A GOOD SHOW THOUGH!   So, again I'll have to vote for the opera, again I'll pay, get dressed, make a head call in a public, very clean, bathroom over the other one any day.

I love Oprah and believe men who are secure in their masculinity have no problem watching Oprah.

"Phuck Oprah, Phuck Opera, Phuck a soap opera,

Phuck a pop locker and a cock blocker" ---Insane Clown Posse (i thought Dodge#9 would have been all over this one)

actually opera wouldn't be that bad, especially Carmina (i would love to se it). or any kind Of Richard Wagner, maybe even Mozarts Don Giovanni.

no offense here....but what does my masculinity have to do with watching a woman spout off about everything that she knows virtually nothing about?  seriously....what good has Oprah done for tv?  i put her in the same category as Jerry Springer - the only difference is Springer knows he is a joke and uses that to his advantage....no one close to Oprah has informed her that she is a joke.

Just a comment-----jeez! I like her and think she has done a bunch of good. Let's just agree to disagree.
