 boy band? LOL the Beatles are nothing like a boy band..they have been rated the greatest band alive for a long time and theres a good reason why!

 He was a much , much , much , much better guitarist......but MUSICIAN? Hardly, I'll take just one ...Paul McCartney, He has composed Pop songs, torch songs, rock songs, statement songs, silly slightly retarded songs, soundtrack songs, duets specifically for the other person, and full orchestral symphonies. He has also played a variety of instruments on musical recordings such as the bass (both electic and stand-up six string twelve string guitars, sitar,piano, synthesizers and drums. He also basically produced the White album along with John and it could be said that he Produced(which means to over see the entire recording of an album) Let It Be and some of his solo albums. Thats ONE Beatle. John , George and Ringo were probably not too shabby either. Jimi Hendrix was an AWESOME American rock guitarist ICON,(as a guitarist he ranks in my top 3 all-time) but please, lets not get carried away with his "musicianship"
