 I'm going to visit my in-laws in Chicago/Peoria. There will be plenty of kicking back and relaxing time...

 Lay out by the pool with frequent jumping in as it will probably be hotter than hell here, have a cookout then go out in the boat to watch fireworks over the inlet, which is the best way to watch. It looks like they are right over you and like they are falling all around you.

 The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (A - short season affiliate of the SF Giants) has a pretty good fireworks show. We'll be there this year.

 I'm going boating in the UP at a friend's cabin. I also plan on proposing to my girlfriend. It is going to be a big weekend!!! I can't wait!
