Gotta go with LSU in the West, with a strong push by Ole Miss.  Miss St. is in a shambles, don't know what's up with Arkansas, and Auburns offense is inept.  'Bama will still be 'Bama on defense, but no offense.  Ole Miss's stock stayed high when that "D" lineman stayed in school and recruits are rated top ten.  LSU made a big stride in claiming SEC West by hiring John Chavis as DC.  His defense at UT this past season was ranked top five...on a bad team!  Imagine what he can do at LSU!  On offense, Brandon LaFell has withdrawn from the NFL draft to stay in school, with Charles Scott and Ciron Black not declaring to go.  As for QB, I think Jordan Jefferson is the answer.  Jarrett Lee might as well transfer also with Hatch.  The two freshman QB's coming in are already enrolled and in class.  And Russell Sheppard and Chris Garrett will definately push Jefferson to get better or they'll take the starting job from him.  Rest of incoming class will push starters also, as ESPN150 has it rated at #2. All in all, looking good for the Tigers.

I wanted to pick LSU, but I just don't know how the QB situation is going to play out.

I wanted to pick LSU too, but we just dont know whats going to become of the QB Position. Jefferson showed some signs of greatness, Jarrett Lee is kind of vanilla at QB, and Andrew Hatch is going back to Harvard.

With a little luck, Ole Miss could be playing for the SEC title.

Unfortunately Alabama has a unknown when it comes to QB and has a very young team, and lost a few coaches. To be honest Ole Miss is a rising force and believe me I hate to say that. LSU the QB situation leaves a lot of ?. Basically it is really too early to tell IMHO this should have waited until after the spring games.
