This should be a good Super Bowl, but the Steelers are too deep to lose it.  Maybe get someone on that Fitzgerald guy though.

#4 | 294 days ago

Just ask the Eagles: put everyone on Fitzgerald, and you should be OK.

Let's see, our defense has faced 4 of the top 7 passing offenses (Colts, Texans, Eagles, Chargers) including the league MVP, and 3 of the 4 AFC Pro Bowl receivers.

I think our defense can rattle an old and slow Kurt Warner. Ask the Giants fans how slow he used to be. How do Cardinals fans feel about seeing Matt Leinert in the Super Bowl around midway through the 2nd quarter?

Might be higher scoring than the normal Steelers game, but still a W for the Steelers.

While the steel in pittsburg is running hot with the win over the Ravens.  There are some Cardinals ready to pour some cool water on the steel before they complete the finishing of the VInce Lambardi trophy.  And as we all know, the Cardinals have been more on the side of spoilers then actually rolling over to accept the heresys of the critics.  It has been very much proven that Fitzgerald is having a stellar year of his career.  Warrener is having if not the greatest year ever even more than that which salidified him as a durable  QB in the NFL after his superbowl victory with the rams.  I do honestly believe that from transition to transition, his has yet again proven that he belongs in the NFL  playing at a level that is totally mind mogeling.  Even with Ege running the football as if he has an overwhelming purpose with a massive agenda. Is running the football as he once did as a rookie coming into the league.  It is my belief that if ever there is an episode upon us that surely epidomizes the attributes of David and Goliath.  This is it!!  Now although Pittsburgh have an high powered defense, and they have a durable QB by the name of Big Ben. If there is a clear weakness that the steelers possess, it is the ablility to come back when down a great margine going into the half.  I definately don't believe that their defense can handle all of the weapons, and the tancity that the New rejuvenated Cardinals are about to bring to the table. Not to meantion that there is a huge question mark on the health condition of Hines Ward! Certainly this will be a matchup, that will linger in the minds of Millions for years, and will be one of the greatest classical matchups that we have wittnessed in a long time.  Kinda like that old Colts and Browns matchup.  But if I was a betting man, and indeed I am not, I would say that the Cardinals will win the game, 35-28

The only DOOR open for Boldin is the one he stormed out before his teammates even made it to the locker room after the game.  ESPN is reporting that he did not even stick around to celebrate.  Class guy to argue with his offensive coordinator during the game.  When asked after the game if he wanted to come back next year he answered "Next question" and walked away.

I would really prefer to see the Cardinals win, but I wound up w/ Pittsburgh in a Super Bowl pool at the beginning of the playoffs, so I guess I'll have to pull for them.  The guy that got Arizona is actually a Steelers fan, so he's good either way.

One thing that you really need to contemplate cause you are sounding delirious............ How are those Steelers going to lock down both Fitz and Boldin??????????? It will NEVER happen, Pitt does not have enough talent on their D to lock em both down. They might be able to manage locking down one of the two, and the one they will lock down is Boldin...........

Fitzgerald is too dang good for your Steelers to control......................

Even with a triple coverage aspect, no steeler has the hops that Fitz has, I call for Warner to lob a few to him and call it good........

I agree Fitz and Boldin are one of the best Receiving Tandems in the NFL. However if Warner is on his back he can not throw the ball. He is notorious for having bad games if he gets hit early and often. Don't think for a second the Steelers are going to sit back and let him play pitch and catch.

Living in Arizona and having followed the Cardinals all the way back to the days of Larry Wilson, Jim Hart and Jackie Smith, I will be pulling for the Cardinals! This dispite the fact I was a Steelers fan back in high school.

I counted at least 5 people that refered to the Steelers in this way! Memo to those folks .... You're not a part of the Steelers! Sorry not a disgruntled Eagles fan. I just live close to St.Louis and watched Kurt play every week. When he starts to get hit a lot  he gets rattled. As far as the Eagles Blitz after Blitz deal. They started that in the second half of the game. Warner only put up 8 points in the second half and had a few 3 and outs. I actually like Warner and think he has done a great job for Arizona.

Go buy a Terrible Towel and give it to someone else if you don't want it.  You'll help a disabled child.  I bet you didn't know proceeds from the towels sold actually go to a good cause.  That's why the other imitation towels around the league are a bunch of phonies, because those proceeds just go into the teams' pockets.

Apparently then you only watched the 2nd half of the game, cause the game I saw, well the Eagles were throwing 5 6 and sometimes 7 on the line in the first half.

The problem the Cardinals had in the second half is after the blew the Eagles away in the first, they took the game for granted and thought it was a cake walk.

Now in that second half and on the ensuing drive that allowed the Cardinals to retake the lead, tell me if I am wrong but I would have to guess on the TD drive the Eagles blitzed close to if not more than 90% of the time.............. What happened, AZ TD.

Since Philly self-destructed as usual...going with my 2nd fave team...STEELERS! GO BIG BEN (still wondering about that nickname ). Steelers need to contain "Milli-Vanilli" (Fitzgerald). Hopefully Hines Ward is OK. Hey Philly fans get a bad rap, at least we don't vandalize other teams players lawns...LOL. That was pretty funny actually. Poor McNabb, poor schmuck can't buy a break!

See..that's where you are wrong! Pittsburgh fans stick with their team win or lose. The Rooneys have also stated that the fans are part of the organization. We have truely good owners that are fan oriented. The Steelers and the fans have the closest relationship in the NFL. The Steelers Nation is the largest in the world. No matter where you go there are dedicated Steelers Bars. I don't think you'll find that anywhere else. There will be a sea of gold in the stadium just like in Detroit for Super Bowl XL. So we can say we are a part of the "WE", "US", "OUR". You weren't a fan of the Steelers in high school, because once a Steeler Fan always a Steeler Fan. All Warner will be seeing is little birdies flying around in the sky.

That's wrong man that is not what I meant by the comment. I was just trying to be funny. Not trying to offend anyone.

See..that's where you are wrong! Pittsburgh fans stick with their team win or lose. The Rooneys have also stated that the fans are part of the organization.
