My parents did it to me and I have done it to my boy in front of his girlfriend and other female friends.

i have pictures of my girls we call the black mail pictures and when they r being real smart-ss i whip them out n show all there friends n i have some of there friends to that i save for when they act up

For me it has never been much of a problem with the baby pics but the girls don't think so they never liked me showing pics of themselves having a bath to there friends lol.... as said we came naked in this world and naked we will go out of it.  The more naked the better.  just a pity sometimes its to cold to be naked lol.

I never understood why parents think about showing baby nakey picks to their kids BF/GF.  It just never seemed like a smart thing to do.

I mean... I can't be the ONLY one who thought about saying "those ARE cute, let's go see how cute that is now" then grab my GF's arm and lead her away.

 No i never did it to my kids and nobody ever did it to me.    No point to it.  I am sure if my mother had of had any of me she sure would have shown them to my boyfriends.   She was that type.

 If I thought it really bothered my kids I wouldn't.  Most people seem pleased although they act like it is the end of the world.  Parents should be alert to their children because if there is something else going on that they are dealing with it could cause problems. I have seen this happen.  Be careful with mail or even email some ambitious person may say it's child porn.

My daughters love pulling out the old pictures of themselves and sharing them with their friends.... I have to find other ways to torture them instead.  Most of them involving doing "mom" things in public places..... they LOVE that !

My mom will do it given the chance.  She is the worst! I will proudly show recent pictures of my children but I never really took any naked baby pics of them so they are safe...besides they were the prettiest babies in the world! (Proud Mama)

 My mom and dad always show the pics where I am running around in cowboy boots, superman underwear and a cape.  This would be fine if I was 2 or 3 but that pic was taken last month at a family get together

My mom has a picture of me when I was 3 years old sitting on the toilet with one of my little books...she shows it to everybody. Still.

 I think my boyfriend would rather see my naked body now than my naked body back then....now if they were current pictures of me naked, I would be a little more embarassed if my mother would bring those out than my baby pictures.  Also, it depends how long this guy has been my boyfriend too.

 Hahahaha......Faniq at its best. I love it. BTW....naked baby pictures in my family is an initiation. The first time or two it kinda sucks, but the more you have to live through it, the easier it gets.

 We have a book full of them.......................The complete book of embarrassing photos is a family heirloom. It's also available in slide show format. The real fun is watching everyone in the room sweat, not knowing what picture will come up next.

I've had that done to me by the girl I was dating (fortunately she was game for that angle of revenge).  My mom almost had a heart attack, and needless to say, knows better now than to pull those out again.

partiallly true,  but seeing as I have never worn a suit in real life, why would I wear one in death? So I guess it is possible that I might be buried in shorts and a offensive t-shirt and flip-flops. Guess I will just have to let my family know I want to be buried naked.

My mother was born on a farm in Texas about 80 years ago.  She's never been to an Indian temple, nor is she likely ever to be.  I can also imagine that she'd appreciate being referred to as having a baseless mindset as much as I appreciated having her referred to that way.  Perhaps you consider your way of thinking to be practical and open, but where I was born, polite manners and respect for elders are thought to be important too.

Can't help but wonder...if you are a gift from God, and you don't mind the little flower of your garden being put on public display, why did you respond  1. 1.  Why does is matter to you if your gf/bf thinks the naked pictures are cute? Shouldn't they too appreciate the gift from God, the naked little flower in your garden? Would you date someone with such a baseless mindset that they would only consider a cute naked child to be a gift from God?  Will you give in and adjust your beliefs based on whether you have someone's "cute approval"? Is that what you consider being practical and open?
2. How can a child be too young to experience the beauty of Michelangelo's Jesus at Vatican, the Indian temples you mentioned, or a photo of a gift from God?  What does it matter if the subject of the photo is naked, as long as it is a gift from God? Do God's gifts come with minimum age requirements?  That doesn't seem to be very practical or open. 
Either I totally misunderstood, or your comment was completely baseless.

 For me when the baby photos were brought out it was kinda embarassing cos my gf just laughed a hell of a lot then a couple of weeks later we got a hell of a lot more serious and she said that it was cos of the fact that i hadn't been even slightly afraid to show her everything so it actually made our thing better.

I'll definately do this to my kids when i get some but ill make sure they aren't like the one of me taking a leak onto my neighbours car from the roof of my house that was the one that she freaked out a little on.............

 Truly speaking, I would love to see my childhood naked photos, if i have at least once. I think, there is nothing wrong in it. Child is child and they are simply Godly in sense at that age. Evil senses do not touch the child at that age. And, it's also true everybody comes in this world naked, not dressed.
However, differences of culture makes the whole thing different. I'm an Indian. In India, we worship little Krishna as in Western world, Little Jesus is worshiped. We consider HIM as a symbol of simplicity, not as a mere child.
Accepting nudity is another thing. Some of our friends, who do not like to see his/ her nude pics of childhood, would prefer to keep pics of David or Monalisa as decor in room.

I would never I will tell you why, my mother!! I was 5yrs old and it was 2 days before Easter, my stupid self decided to play like the Easter Bunny please keep in mind I am naked supposed to be getting ready for my bath. I tried to get the basket around my back and got stuck, it scared the s#*$ out of me I went running and screaming into the kitchen where my mother was entertaining my aunt and friends.. I felt like I was on the red carpet at the Grammy's or something they were yelling, laughing, asking questions and snapping pictures!! I am still seeking counseling for that today! lol (this is a true story folks).

 I don't understand... thier baby pics. It's not like you got caught in your training bra or secretly using your cousins panties because none of your tighty whities were "clean". What just me? Oh well.

Two of my favorite pics were snaps my mom took when I was a baby. One is me on the toilet with a bottle in one hand, my legs kicking out in front of me, and the biggest smile modeling my new tooth. Thats great parenting right there! My mom was a pioneer long before the US turned "green" and conservation modes. She figured drink your bottle and just hangout on the toilet for about 20 min while I clean the bathroom. Think of all the water, trash or laundry she saved (remember it was the 70's, the world didn't revolve around pampers).

The other one has me butt naked, big smile, belly and butt all poked out with a toy guitar opening up the door under the sink. Once again the 70's, long before parents were pussified with "child-proofing". PS3, Xbox, Wii whatever. Yeah sure spend a weeks wage on a game system for your child or $30 on  a dvd set when all you needed then was the sponge and can of whatever; hours of entertainment.

So bring on the pics! We're babys remember. I haven't gotten any complaints ;). Now if my mom had a pic of me after she beat my ass for writing on the wall with her lipstick, or as a teen sneak attack me while I was masturbating. Now thats a vital piece of blackmail right there. Imagine all the homework I would have done, my "defiance" would have been barely a hissy fit. I might think about that one when I have kids.

 Did this to my daughter. Printed out an 8 X 10 and framed it , gave it to her hubby as a gift on their first Christmas...The bad part...made him open it in front of friends and family. Had everyone stop and watch as he opened it. My daughter could not believe mom did this...but after a little thought she knew I would do something like that. Everyone loved it. A Christmas they still talk about.
