She is a good asian descent role model for kids like my niece who was born and adopted in China by my sister. Her success shows the kids what they can achieve if they work hard. My niece is in Middle school now and is all AP classes.

#23 \| 1369 days ago msoosey (+)	I still feel that Michelle was screwed out of the gold medal at the 1998 O(lympicfs. Lipinski bounced around like a rubber ball, while Kwan was grace personified, along with having technical difficulty. I think the judges just thought "How neat to crown the youngest gold medalist ever" and gave it to Lipinski on that basis. It is interesting to note, that Lipinski never again faced Kwan in competition.
