Was the Great Pyramid of Giza built by aliens? (Edited 12/01/09 03:53PM by Seth)

Considering the lack of "modern" technology, was it humanly possible to build this pyramid without some assistance from an intelligent life not of our world? The precise construction to this day is a modern marvel, and not to mention the size of each casting stone suggests to some that it wasn't possible by humans. Any thoughts?

It's amazing that we still don't have a definitive answer as to how they built them though. It's too bad they didn't put the building method in stone somewhere. Ans even though I'm pretty sure that they had a professional building crew doing the work, they might have had some illegal aliens sneak into the work crews. So that explains my maybe answer. Maybe so

Evidence is just that. Evidence. But the fact remains that they still don't KNOW how they were built. There are theories. But no solid standing. And the reason there aren't any hypotheses recognized worldwide is because of the things that are left unexplained. I'm by no means suggesting you're wrong, but I'd decline to say that anybody is right as of now, and that goes for ALL theories. It is just a fascinating set of structures that we may never know the entire truth.

The one thing that puzzles me are the drawings on the walls. It shows space ships and peaple that look nothing like the peaple back then. And then there is that place that was made on the ground with wierd signs. You cant see what it is from the ground. So it had to be made to be seen from the sky. The Ancient Egyptians were known for keeping track of damn near everything in their history, every king they had, every war they fought, and yet there is no record of anyone ever having built the pyramids. How about the fact that they hadn't invented the wheel yet and the blocks they used to build the pyramids weighed approximately 2 tons each. If you take the perimeter of the pyramid and divide it by two times the height, you get the number pi (3.14159...) up to the fifteenth digit. The chances of this phenomenon happening by sheer chance is about the same odds as the Chicago Cubs winning the world series a hundred years in a row. The number pi was not even calculated accurately to the fourth digit until the 6th century, and the pyramids calculate it to the fifteenth. The bottom line is if you claim the pyramids were built by such a primitive civilization, I don't want to hear some stinkin opinion. You have some serious explaining to do, and if you can't back it up with scientific fact or plausible theory then your opinion on the matter is worthless. When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, NO MATTER HOW UNLIKELY, Is the truth. Whether you want to believe it or not. Yes

Simply because they look primitive by our standards, does not mean they were not as smart or clever. The Egyptian society for that time was one of the most advanced. The idea of the pyramid was used by peoples are all over the world, it's not hard to see why, it's a very stable design that lasts a long time.
