It's Eric Bledsoe....but I like the sentiment and I agree that they should kill next year.  And what about Patterson?  Patterson said in an online chat session with fans on Wednesday (5/20) that Eric Bledsoe was the best dunker on the team (that he's seen in person).  He said Wall was the best dunker but he hadn't seen him yet.

He also says Matt Pilgrim is the strongest player on the team!! It's pretty exciting!  Check it out.

Judging by the last month or so, Calipari was the perfect hire and he will make them exponentially better in the next 3 or 4 years.  I expect them to be much better even next year.  GO WILDCATS!!

Is this even a serious question? Of course Cal will make Kentucky better... are you for real? Looking forward to the epic battles between Uof K and UNC!

Of course, Calipari will make practically any team better. With him, the Cats will be back to perrenial final four contenders.
#6 | 1827 days ago

OF COURSE!

....but, are the Cats REALLY better if they have to vacate any Final Four runs?    it seems to be a habit of Coach Cal.

I think Kentucky is always the best with any coach who has them...    But it is thing that hurts me is the way they bounce out the coaches in and out for some stupid thing and it is hard on the players to adjust to a new person..  But I am praying that we will have a good year with this Cal and see what his potential to teach our players stragedy and for us to get to the chamionship..    I hope Patrick Patterson, Harris plays better than they did in the Miami game agaist the Redhawks on the 16th.  And we start improving more than they played Monday nite.  I am happy we won but it was a teeth biter wondering if we was the way they were just shooting and not scoring in the first half.   So maybe things will brighten up next games and etc.   Go Big Blue all the way......

I worry about the guys on the team. And as a Kentucky Fan I KNOW how hard the fans are on any coach there. The team has been through so many changes these last couple of years. And I hate that for them. But have to admit--I have NOT said oh hell another damn yankee with Kal--not TO much anyway. Trying to give him a chance---and he has made it fairly easy on me as a fan. So far anyway. I just want them to do their very best and know that they have--we as Kentucky fans do tend to be pretty hard on the team and the coach. But that is only because we love them so much.
GO CATS!!!!!!!

I don't think Coach Calipari is going to be around to see his team mature,as i don't believe 3 maybe 4 of his player's will be playing for Kentucky next year. If recruiting problem's don't get Kentucky, which that seems to be a theme song of Calipari's,then some of those top recruit's are going to make the jump as quick as they can into the NBA. How long is Calipari going to stick around if he has to go through a rebuilding year every year???? Everyone know's that in today's college game to find a top recruit and have him play for you for the entire 4 year's anymore is near impossiable, and then you add on the fact Calipari is already coming with alot of problem's of his own,and the NCAA is going to be looking at the Kentucky program long and hard,I just believe it's going to be a tough act for Calipari.

I think that Calipari is going to make a difference to Ky and so far this season we have seen that. He is a great coach and I do believe that the team we have know will stay and play for their 4 years of college. Go Big Blue the fans are behind you 100%

Only time will tell, and for the sake of the Kentucky faithfull who keep pinning their hope's on the coach I truely hope you are right and I am wrong.I just remember a coach like Joe B. Hall and after that there are very few coache's who can measure up like that.....Lute Olsen,Dean Smith,John Wooden,Denny Crum, and I probably would throw Coach K in there. Those were some great coache's and Coach Hall was a great coach for Kentucky.Sure you guy's have won national championship's since he retired, but how many coache's have you been through since he retired? I could be wrong but i count 5 maybe 6 coache's since Hall retired, and then throw in the fact the kid's just don't stick around for 4 year's anymore because of the big money in the NBA and that is a bad combanation. I do wish Kentucky the best of luck though except when they play the Tarheels who have their own set of problem's.

Save your comical attempt to show concern for UK- I've read too many of your anti-Kentucky posts already to believe that you have any legitimate concerns about the future of UK basketball.  Nor should you.  I understand- it's tough looking up at #1 for so long, and now that your team has had some good runs, you hate admitting that UK is probably gonna be back on top for a long, long time.

UK's win over UNC today ensured that they will be the first team in college basketball history to reach 2,000 wins, and now that Calipari is here, there will be no slowing down.  Cry foul on his recruiting tactics and say that us UK fans getting set up for a big fall if it makes you feel better.  It will just make every championship he wins even more sweet.

To educate you a little better about UK's head coaches since coach Hall-John Calipari is the 5th Coach since Joe. B Hall retired.
1. Eddie Sutton- (888-341 overall record)
2. Rick Pitino- (553-191)
3. Tubby Smith- (443-173)
4. Billy Gillispie- (140-85) Okay, I admit they whiffed big time hiring Gillispie
5. John Calipari- (410-137)
Combined records of their last 5 head coaches-  2434-927 (72.4%)  2 National Titles- Hardly slumming it.

If you want to call recruiting the best players in the country, INCLUDING THOSE WHO GREW UP MINUTES FROM UNC & DUKE LIKE JOHN WALL, a bad combination, I say get real.  Just more sour grapes coming to the surface-  get comfortable being the 2ND winningest program in College hoops.

wow all this coming from you and you calling me trouble......let's see eddie sutton trouble............rick pitino best coach since hall......tubby smith trouble ......gillispie well we won't go there......it's easy to recruit a guy when your entrance exam has two questions...."name the two days of the week that start with a T" and i understand john wall answered today and tomorrow. no sour grapes you guys go and and pin your hopes and dreams on a known cheater as he done at every college he has coached at he will cheat.you know the thing if it walks like a duck and all well it's not me who has dug up the crap on your beloved coach but rather the ncaa and like it or not they are not painting a very pretty picture.when next year comes and wall and a couple of his buddies went pro what are all the ky. fans gonna say "wait til next year".i have no problem with uk or their fans but you on the other hand seem to have a problem with anyone who isn't a uk fan i hate to break it to you but as a carolina grad. with a son who goes to duke medical school i know how to take and give a ribbing and still be friends at the end of the day.

no- I don't have a problem with anyone who isn't a UK fan.  My problem is with people who repeatedly want to call Calipari a cheater and generally hate on UK basketball.  You just happen to fit each one of those descriptions.  Trust me- I don't take it personally, but expect me argue on behalf of my Wildcats every chance I get.  9-0!!!  I think UNC fans are the one's who are gonna be saying "wait until next year", and maybe for longer than you care to admit.

11-0 best start of any new head coach since one Adolf Rupp-  Keep hating if you like, but please learn to deal with the reality that UK is back on top of the college basketball world.

Tubby Smith trouble?!?!? What are you talking about? 0 NCAA infractions, 1 NCAA Championship (1998), & a 72% win percentage.

This is what Kentucky Fans thought about John Calipari when he coached at Memphis...

All this talk about Cal being a Cheater makes me sick sure he's had his problems but name me a coach that hasn't.
You say he cheats because he gets good players, Name me a coach that wouldn't take Wall or Cousin Which by the way are the only 2 that may not be there if not for Cal besides maybe dodson.

I mean just because your being investigated by the NCAA that doesn't make you a cheater,  every coach has been invesetigated and every one of them has something to hide believe it or not its the truth

As I said when Calipari got hired, he would turn the program around tremendously! And look at the results so far 19-1!  I am concerned though that the kids he is coaching are starting to get big heads and thinking that they are unbeatable- hopefully Calipari can convince them to play hard EVERY GAME and never underestimate ANY TEAM like they did South Carolina!

Calapari isn't even a coach, he's only a recruiter, Pitino coaches the players he has and is able to make them perform at the acme of their abilities
