Do you have your own Doctor or do you just find one when you are sick/injured?

Many people have their own personal Doc's or Family Physicians, but I know quite a few people who hate going to the doctor and will only go when something happens to them. They either look in the phone book or go to an Urgent Care Center (those places are a joke, just IMO), or the E.R. How about you?

#1 \| 1492 days ago kramer (+)	I don't go to the doctor every time I sneeze like some people, but if I don't get over a cold for like 2 weeks I know it's probably a sinus infection or something worse and I need a prescription, so that's when I'll go to the doctor. Mine is always running late, but that's because he actually takes the time to listen to his patients and talk to them rather than writing a quick prescription and sending you on your way. #3 \| 1492 days ago mooser58 (+)	We have a family doctor. And every time I go to see him (which is not that often because I do not get sick enough to warrant going) he is amazed I am still alive. I am telling you people, whiskey is the key to a long life. Family Physician

The P.A. if I am gravely ill they are usually better then the doctors anyway. Hey all I usually need is a note and drugs why waste the time on a doctor. Other

#6 \| 1492 days ago half_baked (+)	I have a regular doctor that I go see once a year or when I need penicillin.... Honestly though, I have a female doctor who is awesome. I always went to a male doc until he retired so I needed a new one. My gf at the time suggested I go see her female doctor who was really good. That doctor moved away and I decided I had such good luck with the first female doctor that I would get another. No complaints...even when she pulls out the cold stainless steel instruments... My own Doctor

#7 \| 1492 days ago kteacher (+)	With all the cooties I am exposed to on a daily basis, I have built up a strong immunity (besides taking the time off to go to the doctor sucks----sub plans and all), and I rarely go to the doctor. But I do have my own---and she is great. My own Doctor
