#1. As much as I hate to say it, I have to pick Johnson just because winning 3 Cups in a row is not a fluke. Also, how the F does Jr have more votes that Stewart?  Seriously?
#2. I really do think that Logono will be something special.

I have to agree with Johnson. He's proven time and again that he can stay calm and look ahead at the big pictures.  He doesn't panic, he just gets the job done.  #2 I was torn between Logano and Keslowski and I went with Brad - I think both will be successful, I just want Brad to be more successful that Logano.  #3 I had to go with the experts who last year voted Sr as the best  all time.  Yes, the King is a phenomenal talent and 200 wins in 1170 races is impressive, so he is so close in second there isn't room for a piece of paper between them.

since the beginning of the grand nationals , there has been so many fantastic drivers , there would be no way i could ever narrow it down to one , past or present
1. Jeff Gordon  2. Joey Logano  3. "The King" Richard Petty

i say richard petty the best ever ...he got the nickname the king for reason

The"King" raced under a different format, it included Dirt Tracks, Half mile and 3/4 mile ovals that are no longer on the circuit. The cars were also much, much different and the NASCAR Inspector's were not as "Smart and Through" as they are today. Mr. Petty is no doubt an ICON in racing, but, i would love to see him go head to head in a C.O.T 50 lap shoot-out with (1) Jeff G.(2) Mark M.(3) Tony S. (4) Jimmie J. (5) Ryan N. (6) Carl E. (7) Bill E. (8) Joey L. (9) Joe N. (10) Buddy B. (11) David P. and #(12) Richard P.12 Cars, 50 laps at Lowe's, Green and white Checkered Flag, Double file Restart.......Even with months of preparation and with "All-Time Wins" at Daytona I doubt R.Petty would finish in the "Top 10"...... I would love to see it, No disrespect intended to the "King" or his fans! Just a reality check.......Yesterdays winners are today's spectators!

the old nascar era and the new era to me are really 2 different worlds , I would have to say the COT is the 2nd generation of the new era or maybe even to be considered the new era all on its own , some drivers have the cot figured out and some don't quite yet , I havent seen a single total dominate car yet this year , some of the big names up front as usual but not all the time ...................

Busch is the best active racer he knows how to drive. David Ragan is gonna be a big star, in the near future,  and Petty is and will be the best driver of all time. I'm glad Kahne has an owner that knows what is going on, Hell of alot better then Evernham.

In the same respect, I'd like to see some of these pampered sissy-boys that call themselves racers go back in time and try to run with the "good ol' boys".  Dirt tracks, no power steering, no air conditioning.  And not to mention, those boys raced rough.  I doubt that many of the guys today would've done very well back then.  Also, no disrespect, just a different spin on it.

Tony kicks. He has proven that he can run any thing he gets behind the of and win. He has come full circle as a person and driver. I think it's cool as heck to watch him mature in to one heck of driver and owner thank u very much! Does me proud to be a fan.

I will always believe Jimmy Johnson will always rock as a Nascar driver. He had proved many times over that he can keep calm and collective through all things from the beginning of the race to the very end no matter if he wins or not.  But my greatest concern about any of the drivers is that history doesn't repeat itself like what happened to Dale Earnhardt, Sr.  I just take one race at the time and hope for the best...
