How does Dan Haren not even get a mention?
It doesn't matter who pitched for the NL though. After losing 10 years in a row they will find some way to blow this,

For 40+years now, all i have ever head from both the media, and the fans, is that the starter was picked because he was on the defending champions, or that he was on the division leader, or the team with the best record. Now, as a homer pick, i believe Verlander should be the choice.
If the Tigers are in first place, and Justin Verlander has 10 wins, then he will be the ace of the Tigers staff, and be leading the league in K's...and a legitimate starter.
Greinke, and Roy Halladay are also qualified, as is Felix Hernandez...but they are not on first place teams.
Hey, the Tigers are my team, and they are still in first place as of July 2nd...and that is a good thing.!

Dan Haren should be starting.  As much as I love the Giants, lincecum just isn't quite good enough.
