AFL Power Poll - Preseason

The Arena Football Season kicks off on March 1st. Each week, we will be asking you which teams you think are the best in the league in a power poll. Rank which teams you think are the top 10 in the league. Their regular season record is next to the team name, but you also might want to check out www.arenafootball.com and www.arenafans.com to learn more about each team.

Which team will be considered the preseason favorite? Will it be the Dallas Desperados, who had the best regular season record last year? Or will it be the Chicago Rush, who won the Arena Bowl despite a 7-9 regular season? How about the Orlando Predators, who made it to the Arena Bowl, but were upset? Perhaps the San Jose Sabercats, who finished the regular season with 7 straight wins? Or will it be someone else? It's up to you to decide!

You can tell people are doing this solely on record as the Defending Champion Chicago Rush are getting no respect!

Agreed! I put the Rush at #1 too. The defending champ has to go there in my book, even if their regular season record wasn't great.

If you are going to throw him out, can I help? I don't want you to hurt yourself at your advanced age (LOL).

It will take you too long to get here from Clearwater. I can handle small jobs alone.

Somehow it says that I am rooting for Georgetown.................that will nevery happen. I know that Nova is losing but am hopeful that they come back strong.

That is okay. I got your back. I don't know you that well, but I know you are smart enough not to root for an inferior Big East team like Georgetown over Super Nova. That is a change Fan IQ needs to incorporate, being able to change what team you are pulling for in case you hit the wrong button.

Hoya comes from Hoya Saxa, which means "What Rocks". Supposedly, a student started that cheer back when Georgetown students had to study Greek and Latin. I guess that means they are actually the Georgetown Whats.

Hey Burrellfan, you have screwed me up big-time. You told me to bet on Vandy...........................what happens, they get their clock cleaned. You supported Nove, what happens, they get their clock cleaned. You seem to know about the HOYAS, so what????

What other bad advice do you want to give an old guy?????

Wait a second, you picked the Vandy game before I did. All I said was that you had gotten smarter because you weren't going against Vandy like you did last time and lost. Nova didn't get their clock cleaned. They only lost by 3. The best advice I can give an old man is to stay consistent, never change your mind. On second thought, let me amend that...
