UK vs. UT?  UK vs. Florida?  Check out the all-time records between those schools and you can see it's no rivalry for UK.  I would've listed UK vs. Indiana over either one of those two "rivalries".  UK & IU has been much more competitive throughout the years.  UK v Florida has been a good rivalry for the since 2004 or '05, but Florida still has a lot of making up to do before they can be in considered "true" rivals for Kentucky.  Aside from the performance of basically one or two outstanding teams under Billy Donovan(one unbelievable team), they haven't been consistant enough (and were embarrassing for many years) to call themselves rivals yet.  I admit, UK has dipped more to Florida's level more than Florida has risen to UK's.  I can't deny that I like to see them beat Florida more than pretty much any other team in the SEC, because of how those great Florida teams beat up on Kentucky for a few years. But until they even things out a little bit more, I'd put them just a little higher than UT on the rivalry scale, but much lower than IU.  I still love to see UK beat IU!

UK vs. Florida's all time record stands at 86-33 in UK's favor.  It's even uglier for Vols fans.  142-66 all-time.  I like you used so many UK rivalries as examples though. It demonstrates that UK is almost everyone's rival when it comes right down to it, especially in the SEC.

I agree with you BluDevil- UCLA v. Arizona & Arizona State are also great rivalries, shoulda been in the mix on this poll But UK v Louisville #5?!?  WHAT?!?! Get a grip!  : )
1. Duke-UNC  2. Kentucky-Louisville  3. Michigan-Michigan State  4. Indiana-Purdue  5. Cincinnati-Xavier

Nice points on rivalries. They have to at least be competitive, or they aren't really rivalries even if the teams hate each other.

I put UK/L-Ville at 5 because I think those big east rivalries are pretty fun to watch right now. I mean, Syracuse/UCONN played like a 10 overtime game last year!

Duke, UNC its a no brainer. Even when one or the other isn't having a great season its still the best by far because they are right in each others back yard.

Couple of the older rivalries UCLA & Notre Dame, & Syracuse & Georgetown aren't even on this list, but Duke & UNC is the top rivalry currently.
