shaq is gettin old, soon he will have to retire. he'll play about 2 more years. although he has come out and said that his basketball career  will be over in 2010. if the Cavs don't make something happen this season (championship) Lebron stays. if they do he goes. this is a huge factor in wheter or not Shaq plays an extra season. i think a lot of what Lebron does will affect Shaq. he'll prob go the same route as Lebron. Bron will try to keep Shaq around their w/him if they fail to win a championship this season. if he stays and they don't win the following season, i see Shaq retiring. i think he wants to see Lebron get a ring. he's gonna do everything he can to help Lebron get one. other than playing another 3-4 seasons.

The addition of Shaq to the team will make Cavs very strong, but there may be problems with team chemistry. Shaq also likes the ball so much just like 'Bron. It will take them more than a season to play together in almost perfect harmony. Shaq will stay for a 2nd year to try to prove that he is an investment and The King will most likely stay.

That's a trick question. He'll be on Cleveland's roster for two years, but he will play the equivalent of a half season!

I think Shaq will be a big part of the Cavs, but that's all he will be. He's just trying to find that last team to help him win a (RING) He should have retierd with Miami, because that's his last (RING) as a basketball player. Stick to rapping and being a clown, you might get a ring for that.

Shaq will play another 2yrs. It's all about if he can win a ring with the Cavs. He will try and go out on top. If he wins, he'll be gone. What else do he have to prove.

Shaq will take one year to give you hope, and then one year to break your heart.  If he would pay as much attention to team chemistry and free throw shooting as he does with twitter, he would be an asset.

Shaq will stay long enough to win a ring so he can start saying that Lebron needs him too.

2 Years because the Cavaliers will come up short in year one, but  "The Big LeBrawn" will see enough to return for another run for the ring.  Th real question is controlling the "Quake by the Lake," "The Big Shaqalier," "The Big Shaqusition," "Shaq Frost,"
or the "The Big Erie-stotle" and teaching him to have his "Big Lake Effect"  on Shaqland [Cleveland's new nickname] in 4-8 minute increments.  Keeping him to about 28 minutes a game is the key.

He'll be there this year and fail to win a title.  LeBron will leave or re-sign with the promise from the Cavs to add another big peice meaning Shaq will have to be let go.  Some other team will convince themselves that Shaq may somehow be their missing peice and sign him.

Yes, True and we all know Shaq is coming to the ever so slowly, neverending ending(meaning a good thing. He'll be passing the baton to the anchor Dewight Howard after they seal it this year.). Meaning that end could either come sooner than he wants or on time. Shaq's Main goal and Lebron's I believe is def not a 2 year plan. Those 2 are on a 1 year, put up or shut up, get it done, championship season. It's not " if " they dont accomplish it next season they will the next. NO! If it's not done 2009-10 season, then superman SHAQ DIESEL will either be wise and follow Lebron, def not Lebron following Shaq. if anything bringing Shaqalong for the ride and a GRAND departure holding the trophy at the end of his hall of fame and "GREATEST" BIG MAN career. Lebron would link up with a dominating force that is in the new, high flying, full dashing and stat piling asset that he needs to accompany him. Maybe like my boy Dwayne Wade. Those Two some how work out some good and reasonable, worthwhile contracts, Wade can continue hitting those RocaWear runways with " YA BOY " and along side the King James and Brooklyn got them the new era Champions and dynasty to be. But, Hey thats in a perfect world, right! LOL!

2 years for Shaq with cleveland is enough for his age. 1st year would be bonding with king james and the second year would be for the championship.

He said he will retire this year in the season 09'-10' when he was with the Suns he will retire in 1 year. He chose his last season to play with the Cavaliers. So he has a chance for winning the championship in his last year.
