How many more years will Donovan McNabb be the Eagles QB?

This offseason, Donovan McNabb restructured the final two years of his existing contract with the Eagles, which means that when next time he becomes eligible for free agency, he will be 35 years old.  Do you think there is any chance he gets signed again by the Eagles, or are the next two years his last shot to bring a Championship to Philly before they make the switch to Kevin Kolb?

I absolutely agree with the above comment from chrisfreeman.  We sometimes put undue pressure on McNabb. He's not Superman and makes minimal mistakes of which other QB's have made greater.
Let's not be the typical Eagles fans and stick by our players while they're still in the door. It's good for our reputation and boosts their morale. I'm sick of hearing that Philly fans are the worst. We are very loyal.  Eagles fans, please feel free to reply.

McNabb will not stop playing for the Eagles until he gets his Super Bowl ring or he becomes washed up

I agree with you that that is how McNabb would like to go out, but judging by the Eagles consistant "out with the old-in with the new" reputation, I kinda doubt that they stick with McNabb when he gets to be 35 years old, if he is still chasing that glorious SB win.

From what they did on offense-drafting potential stars like WR Maclin, RB McCoy, and TE Ingram, and restocking their Offensive Line this offseason, it looks like the Eagles front office is saying, "OK McNabb, we owe you a shot at a Super Bowl, now bring it home before you get too old and we have to cut you."

I also agree that an aging McNabb is much better than Kevin Kolb right now, but we'll see how he can stay healthy, and how much Kolb improves over the next two years.  It's entirely possible that Kolb will not be around to see McNabb give up the starting QB position, and they will get someone else to take his place.  And it is a little unfair for us to judge Kolb based on his performance when he was thrown in there in the middle of the season without getting any real reps in practice as the starting QB.  I love McNabb, don't get me wrong, but the Eagles have a rep for getting rid of their aging veteran players, and let's face it-they have done a pretty good job at making the call when someone is on the downturn in their career.  I'm not saying McNabb is over the hill, but I do think the Eagles want to put him in the position to win the big one, before they are put in a bad situation, deciding whether or not to renew his contract without a SB win under his belt.

He's done after 2010.
