I think Tony Pike will have a good shot, especially if Cincinnati runs the table.  Their schedule sets up pretty nice.  So far, Pike has thrown for over 1200 yards with 13 total TDs (11 passing), and only 2 INTs.

QB for Cincinatti Bearcats- Pike.

I love it......from a race among the QB's that stayed in college (Tebow, Bradford, McCoy) to a WIDE OPEN race. It is too early to tell....No ONE has set themselves apart.

Texas will be undefeated, and in the National Championship game...Colt McCoy.
Colt McCoy

I like that QB in Miami. Considering Bradford got hurt, Tebow got hurt, and Cal's 2 losses. I think Harris deserves it. Miami looks good.

I hate to say it, but Clausen is what is keeping ND and wiese above water. If he can some how win out, including winning against USC then he will be the favorite for the Heisman. I like Pike, but I think he will struggle against South Florida. This cost Pat White a few years ago. I think Colt McCoy will be third followed by Tebow, and Reasing. Obviously there is alot of football left. So we will see

Colt is as good a runner as Tebow, but a much better runner!

Tebow DOES NOT deserve it, PERIOD.

Jimmy Clausen is the best QB in College football today. If he does not win it this year he is defintley the winner next year.

Bradford will still win it even after missing 4 games. Tebow is a joke.
#14 | 40 days ago

I think Pike probably will deserve to win it but Cincinnati's schedule and lower profile will keep him from winning it.  Colt Mccoy wins it.
Colt McCoy
#15 | 40 days ago

I know that it won't happen, but Jacquizz Rodgers from Oregon State (697 yds rushing, 38 rec for 269 yds and 13 total TD's, which is more than TIm Tebow at this point) should get a little love, and possibly Toby Gerhart (leads the nation with 746 yds ruhsing to go with 10 TD's).  But RB's don't get the attention anymore.  But there's still the second half of the season for each to prove themselves or to faulter with their teams.

From the looks of it, the Gators and Longhorns will probably in the championship match, and then it's anyones game.  But pike is pretty good.  Top 3 candidates are mcCoy, Tebow, and Pike.

We're loving Ryan Mallet in Arkansas. Definitely a Heisman contender in 2010 but maybe even this year. The dude has a major arm and major attitude. Check out the photo below from the Auburn game last weekend. Love his enthusiasm!

i think it could be Jacoby Harris or Dez Byrant or Tony Pike. Other than that its gotta be Tim Tebow because he is a team leader and is very enthusiastic

Actually it could be Mark Ingram with about 200 yards per game

The arguement for Mark Ingram is very compelling but I still think that Colt McCoy is the odds on favorite right now. He has played better than Tebow in most games and that is coming from a Gator fan.

Where's: Chase Keenum, Ryan Matthews, Dion Lewis, Noel Devine, Ndamukong Suh, Jerry Hughes, Golden Tate all of them are outplaying most of the players who've been named.

Tim Tebow will win the Heisman, He may not be playing up to his usual standards. But he is still the best leader in college football and the best field General. He teammates would follow him to the ends of the earth if it was needed.

Tebow is SO lame - playing a pansy schedule, c'mon, give me a break.  What do his teammates follow him for - they like to go to remote places and circumcise babies, too???
