Is this a smart move of Nike to re-sign Vick?
Read the Article: Nike sends bad message by re-signing Vick

This is a very interesting situation in which Nike 2 years ago cut off ties with Vick due to his incident but now only 2 months into the NFL, Nike is ready to re-sign him.  It has been said that nothing as in endorsements have been discussed but lets face it, you know it is going to happen.

Is this just a sign of the times that Nike is in it just for the money? Do you think it is right for Nike to go back and re-sign Vick? What are your thoughts.

thats a tough call, Vick more desperate than Nike or was Nike pressured for some reason , Nike doesnt need the publicity like this , I call it a poor judgement call

well he has done the time for the crime he did!,but could have nike found a up and coming star to latch there cart to... Nike is a little out of our price range so we dont buy them for our kids. but back to Vick he could do some community service that would go a long way of helping his name get cleansed......go clean some dog cages at the local dog pound, use the sweat equity plan not the montery plan.......

I just heard an update on Yahoo.com saying that Nike denies ever talking with Vick's agent so this might not even happen but they are keeping an eye on it.  We shall see what happens. I don't think Nike will take that chance.

They are worldly famous for their horrible and discusting buisiness practices. I would'nt be suprised if he wore Nike's TO the dog fighting ring.

Here in Philly it has not yet been confirmed that Nike has resigned Vick.We have to remember that Nike dropped Kobe after his rape allegation and when the story died down, they picked him up again
