First and foremost I wanted to say thanks to all of you.  This has been a hell of a last year or so.  A little over a year ago I found this site and it has been fun being a member.  I have made some great friendships and learned quite a bit about people, which is the reason I stuck around so long.  I never cared about rankings, points or any of that stuff.  I hardly hit other parts of the site because to me this site was all about interacting with others.  From one side of this country to another to lands across the sea.  I never came to be a leader.  I never came to sway a person's opinion.  I gave mine and respected all.  If you reached out to me I tried to reach back.  But, the joy in many ways is gone from the daily visits here.  And I always told myself once that happened, I was gone.  On my terms.  It has nothing to do with one person.  It has nothing to do with the cosmetic changes to the site.  It is just time.  So instead of just walking away I did at least want to say thank you to all of you.  You are all great people, from those who I befriended to those I argued with.  I leave hoping I made Das Q a better place.  If I made one person smile or laugh just one day a week, one hour out of the day, then the last year here has been worth it.

Don't ask what the world needs.  Ask what makes you come alive and then go do it.  Because what the world needs, is people who have come alive.  The doors we open and close each day decide the lives we live.  Though I close the door on Das Q, my life comes alive in a new way.

 Mooser goes out in style.  He is a good man, We had our differences but got past them.  We remain friends today.  In a way, I can understand what he is saying.  This really sucks!! I think it had something to do with the Lame Brain on a poll that Mooser was commenting on yesterday. The guy was really hitting below the belt!! I can't remember which one it was.  I am going through major Mooser withdrawals right now!!

I have been here since January 2009. The only things that have changed since then are these new changes. There was maybe a couple little changes befor that but nothing that bad. It seems the same to me. One thing i have noticed is that the site is faster now.


As for Mooser and Huskerfan............When any site on the internet starts affecting your work or if you just plain get tired of it then it's not worth going to any more. I know that in the last month i have only been coming here and staying for no more than 15-30 minutes a day compared to the hours i used to spend here. It just got old and i needed a break.  The last couple of days i have spent a little more time on here. But like mooser said......the day that this place is no longer fun to me, im out of here.

Scott was always up for a challenge with me b/c he grew up here in Arkansas and was just here with his family a couple of months ago.And Mooser oh my god that man could make me laugh when nothing was even funny...........................

I can completely relate to this. At first I was just here mainly for the sports and I now spend more time in the Locker Room, sometimes, more often then not, just to see what Mooser would come up with. Well, this news certainly is a kick in the gonads, but he was very elegant in his reasons for leaving, and so we will wish him our best. And, I feel Jason is a very positive contributor to say the least. We still have the Bobblehead.

 Dang it Mooser...you are my safe place!! Always gave me great advice and wisdom...awesome music videos, smiles when I needed them. The list is endless as to all the things you brought into my life. We talked just the other day and there was no indication that you would be leaving.    You will be missed by a lot of people who's lives you touched in so many ways. I wish you nothing but the best.  Mark was a lot of fun on here, and I hope he finds whatever he's looking for.  I have to admit, some of this has gotten SO out of hand, that it's not going to take too much to push me out the door, too.  I haven't been here as long as Mark and don't know you all as well as he did, so I know my absence wouldn't make the splash his does.  That said, maybe it's time the people who have the control on this site start listening to those who are great contributors to its success.  If Mark had a complaint, it would have been well grounded.

no not at all i noticed alot of changes in both the people and the site. i can kinda understand mooser wanting to leave but it will be a shame to not get to see some of his polls i liked he talked his mind. but i hope he is happy in anything he does and that he gets to keep up the golfing

 I guess I missed the grand exit by our friend Mark.  DANGIT!!!!

I remember when he first joined the Q we messaged back and forth and I got to know him.... and then all of a sudden BOOM!  He was King Popularity of "Das Q"... which suited him well!

Mark is a very nice & intelligent man that contributed a lot to the Q. 

He is also a husband and a father in addition to having a kick-a$$ career.  I often wondered how he could possibly be on the Q as much as he was considering those things... I know that my personal life as of late has kept me way too busy to be on here as much as I once was as well.  

I'll miss ya here on the Q Mark,,, but I'll keep in touch with ya.... (cuz you know you need to hire someone here on the West Coast)...

 Sniff, sniff, cough....Oh Mooser,  wail, sniff, sniff, snort...........OOOHHH MOOOOOSER.......Why, oh why My Friend....Why oh why?  I feel that I personally didn't have enough time to get to know you.  You did though make me laugh out loud.  One night, I sat up, it was maybe 2:30 or 3:00 in the morning and you had me ROTF....LMAO, then the dogs started barking, all 5 of them, then of course they had to potty, and while they were out, the cat slipped by me and I spent another hour looking for her..........................and you know what my friend, I wouldn't trade that memory of you for anything in the world.   Thanks for the belly laughs.  From here on out Mooser, dance like nobody's watchin'
