If Noah's Ark remains are indeed on top of Mt. Ararat how did it get there?
If Noah's Ark remains are indeed on top of Mt. Ararat how did it get there? Photo

Noah's Ark and Mt Ararat - found not in Turkey, but in Iran?

On June 5th, Bible Historian and explorer Bob Cornuke led an expedition of 15 geologists, historians, archeologists, scientists and attorneys on an exhausting mission 13,300 feet above sea level to locate and document the tremendous sections of what is thought to be Noah’s Ark located in the Ararat mountain range six hours North of Tehran, Iran. It had been essentially buried beneath the preservation of glaciers until last year when Iran recorded the hottest year on record which melted some of the snowcap revealing 450 by 75-foot footprint of the “object.”

Noah’s Ark was claimed to be found in Northern Iran rather than Turkey. Over a thousand expeditions had previously scoured Turkey’s Mt. Ararat, but by following the precise language of the Bible, Cornuke found what is believed to be Noah’s Ark, nearly in tact. Turkey’s Mt. Ararat was incorrect because Marco Polo named the large mountain during his journeys in the 13th century. Through mapping scriptures in Genesis with ancient maps, Cornuke pieced together the clues and found where the Ararat Mountain Range made home for Noah’s Ark in Northern Iran not far from Turkey. Bob Cornuke has been at the center of several controversies over his past findings as he has come at odds with secular scholars, but several people who I know personally were on this expedition as well as some credible, internationally known heads of Christian ministries. Cornuke and the participants are careful to not say emphatically that they found Noah’s Ark, but have taken extensive documentation to present their facts for both the public, and the Biblical and scientific communities.

Its great to see someone using the scientific method to continue to prove/disprove hypotheses.

I look forward to a presentation of those facts so I could digest and review them for myself.

" Ararat mountain range " is just as acceptable to me as with Mount Ararat. Here's my take on this matter: Either you believe or don't believe. That's left up to a personal choice.

It's called a flood......duh. read the story.
#8 | 42 days ago

It very likely could be there.  The flood was just  the area that they knew as the world.    It was a local flood to that area of the world.

There's reliable evidence that there's an "ark" on that mountain. If there is prove it, this would be one of THE most incredible discoveries EVER... but they didn't bring a camera. Until then...

What's wrong, still upset over the other poll. Why don't you have some cheese with that whine. Why don't you use that pencil next tor name and write 20 times..........I am a Q writer and representative, but  just can't move on . Funny I have seen these immature traits before from certain other unamed people. You want to start an ongoing war go ahead and bring it. You don't like my poll or contributions, then grow up and move on.  Really nice Q leaders representing.

If things makes positive impact on Us then let some questions be unanswered n keep them as Faith n belief. For some information ..Science already have started to understand miracles ...."Noetic Science"..which off coarse has long long way to go if ever it get full success.....thus proving things with limited bound will bring more confusion than solution.

Actually, riley, I thought my answer was very reasonable on this poll. Your summary is good, but I like to see the evidence discussed myself. Either in a book or a documentary, that contains discussions from multiple points of view.

I am sorry you didn't understand that. It seemed pretty clear. Let me paste it here again. Yep still looks reasonable. Not sure why your personal attack on this one.

And why use "unamed" (sic) - just name them, or why bring it up. It seems like you are the one that is upset based on another poll. I am not sure why.

Listen friends, all of us have faith, faith is what we believe in, all faiths are basically ways of life to seek solace for us from the joys and sorrows in life, to be tolerant to diverse views, thoughts and actions of diverse individuals, some may have faith in some known as almighty, all graceful, omni present, some may have faith in saying that there is nothing like all this all powerful etc, but only in logical , rational thoughts, even an atheist has a faith that he believes there is no GOD.
What is more interesting is no faith tells you to HATE, but teaches you to be tolerant of all others, it is always the safe-keepers of faith that make the life living hell, clergies interpreting the script to their convenience with need of the hour, leading cushy lives with all material comforts are the black spots of all the faiths.

I always wondered, where did all the waters go after the flood? Was it every underground spring in the world surging from below at the same time, then receding after thirty days and night? Was it the metorite that hit in the ocean and splashed up and made the moon? 'Cause it doesnt say anything about the moon in the first 6 days of Genesis. I know one of you Cranks knows and you better tell me!

when they have proof, not just some logs from some old cabin in the iranian moutains, but do all the test they have to date all the findings of the site, then we can discuss the findings, but if that ruler of Iran thinks he can make a whole bunch of people mad than he will shut the borders down and say the people looking at the ark are spys and puts them in prison.....there goes the ark..... was the rains that deep from the rains of a week straight????man they think we have flooding now....wow!!!!!  time will tell......when and if it found could that be what the christens need to bring us back to the preachings.......

A God proved by science would not be God. For I can prove only that which is by creation lower than I, that which is at my disposal.

To wordsmith. I was starting to get along with you a while back. But now you are being very very chidish in your comments. What do you have against Riley james? She is a very very smart lady. She speaks of what she knows. You are very much getting on my bad side quickly. You are wrong in everything u have said on this topic and the other poll she made about nature. I have rileys back now and forever.

this seems pretty fake.

where is the link?
where is the photographic evidence?
where is any evidence?

If it were there people would be all over it Noah is not just a Jewish and Christian father, but Also a Muslim one, I would think the Turks, Kurds, and Armenians would be all over it.

any time someone tells you they have evidence but refuse to show it, means they are stalling because they dont have anything.

it was 40 days and 40 nights. The ark rested on mount ararat after the water subsided. It is believed that after the rain stopped the first ever WET VAC fell from the sky and dried up all the rain... and itsy bitsy spider climbed up the spout again
