You've got to vote for the hapless Bengles - especially after that week one debacle/miracle catch.  Granted, Denver looks amazing even with a rookie coach, but Cincy's perennial bungling and tough losses may actually be turning around.

Surprises are always bigger when they are negative. No one would predict the Titans win less through 5 weeks. Although no one called a 4-1 season start for Cincy but they were plenty of peoples sleeper pick.

I HAVE TO SAY DENVER, BEING UNDEFEATED AFTER WEEK 5 AFTER GETTING RID OF CUTLER AND BEING LED BY A ROOKIE COACH AND CAPPING IT OFF WITH A WIN OVER THE PATS

Broncos without a doubt! I was depressed after they beat my Cowboys- thinking that my Boys just lost to a scrub team- but then they beat the Patriots- solidifying them as a team to beat!   The Bengals are also a close second (and it took a MIRACLE catch in the Broncos game to beat them) and should be 5-0!

the bengals for sure.  it gives more hope to all of us who root for bad teams year after year.

Cinci and Denver weren't 'huge' surprises.  Denver tossed the Division Champ title to San Diego last year, and Cinci with a healthy Carson Palmer will always be lethal!!   They would've won the Superbowl with him had his knee not been taken out!!

49'ers are really the biggest shocker in the NFL!  They're also the most difficult to predict!  Anyone's guess who they'll lose to or step up to take down!

no, their best guy is Chris Johnson. And they improved with Nate Washington. Schwartz is the bigger loss and Haynesworth isn't. He never plays a full season and to pay him that much money would have irresponsible. By the way, against Pittsburgh they didn't have Haynesworth against the steelers last year.

Iam a DIE HARD Broncos fan but a team that went 13-3 last year, best record in the AFC, is now 0-5 going to be 0-6 after they lose to the Patriots, it has to be Tennessee.

Is that why Albert started the Pro Bowl and is the top paid, just look at there record from this year and last year. loosing a player like Albert affects your dee as a whole just look at how Vanden Bosch fell off

remember their a Dee team which means their best player probably was a Dee player, I'm born and raised in Indy so I've seen a lot of this Tenn team, believe me loosing Haynsworth was a mistake

I live in Tennessee and I know how everyone felt during the offseason. They felt it sucked that Haynesworth left but the way Schwartz coaches is what is missing. Haynesworth is good don't misunderstand. But the fact that Schwartz can bring pressure and that is what is missing is the reason the Titans are struggling. You expect me to believe Tennessee loses 1probowler and then KVB, Kearse and the whole secondary is going to crap b/c of that. Give me a break. And if your best guy isn't one who can rush for 197 yds on 16 carries and 8 catches 87 yards with 3 tds. In his second year no less. If the defense could keep them in the game CJ would win them games.
