Couldn't agree more. The oldies are awesome.

But that Ring movie with the low, gravelly voice is FREAKY!

I swear after watching 5 minutes of that movie, I am seeing hair growing from every shadow.

The last scary movie I saw was "American Werewolf in London".  Hated it, never watched another one.

Yeah, I'm a wuss, I'd rather watch a chick flick than a horror movie.....

There's alot of good ones on that list! Nightmare on Elm Street 3 was the first horror movie I saw in the theater and sat in the FRONT row! A VERY memorable experience!

All I got to say is I needed lights on just to read some of these comments, I am going to watch 101 Dalmations. Cruella de Vil  (Glenn Close) is pretty scary too, maybe Bugs Bunny.

I love those old classics, some seem so silly to me now thou. I think The Ring and 13 Ghosts are my favorite thou. While not scarey at all, we will watch Abbott and Costello's Hold That Ghost. Seen it about 20 times now. But if you really want creepy, play Silent Hill for a few hours in a dark room, that game stuck with me for months. I have seen the movie but compared to the game, it seemed very tame to me.

For zombie movies - it has to be Dawn of the Dead - you can't beat a mall full of zombies - or riding around in the back of a hatchback whacking zombies!

Pinhead and the Crew were a mess!  That was some creepy stuff, but I still have one favorite:

An American Werewolf in London

A true classic...Comedy/Horror all in one - great movie!!
Hellraiser

The original Halloween set the standard for the modern horror flicks. A true classic. I still watch it when it comes on and I have seen it too many times to count.

I prefer scary movies like Se7en, Sixth Sense, and Silence of the Lambs.

I love scary movies, but I'd rather watch something that messes with my head, gets my imagination going, than blood and gore slasher movies. Anything paranormal is good, and anything based on a true story messes with me. I love it. I'm not much for aliens usually, but there have been a couple of those that freak me out.
