Well, I'm not sure if any of the parents are watching their child fail, nice spell check though. I really don't know if ONE loss is a fail. I have nephews that played for two different teams. One on offense and one on defense and had to block each other at times. Yes, there is only one winning team for that day but neither one of them FAILED.

I just listed them as my least favorite that's all. Maybe we should talk this out over some blackened trout and a nice merlot? Whad'ya say? This team

However it was not the COWBOYS that had no respect for Tom Landry, it was the new owner and the previous owner that showed him no respect.. The team per say had nothing to do with it.. I would not give up friends over a sports team.. Ever...

If you remember, the Cowboys were NOT a good team and were losing week in and week out at the end of Landry's run as Coach! In Landry's last 3 seasons as Cowboy's Head Coach, the Cowboys records were 7-9 (1986), 7-8 ( 1987 strike season), and 3-13 ( 1988)!!!! Landry flat out REFUSED to change the way he called plays or ran the FLEX Defense (which was way outdated). A "change" had to be made to bring the Cowboys back to being a contender- and "Old School" football was not working. So the change was made at coach! In comes Jimmy Johnson, a new coaching style, and new players and ABRACADABRA- a few short years later- the Boys are hoisting their 1st of 3 Superbowl Trophy's in the 1990's! As much as I absolutely loved Tom Landry, his coaching methods were old and outdated and (IMHO), the Cowboys would NOT have even sniffed the Lombardy Trophy if Landry would have stayed! That team
