Why I am a fan:
|
This goes back to 1986 when I was in 3rd grade and the Astros had that magical season! I became a super fan in 1997 and REALLY started to follow them from then on, as that year marked their return to the play offs.

Favorite Moments:
|
1) Sept 1986- Astro's pitcher Mike Scott clintches the division flag and a play off birth by pitching a no-hitter against the Giants.
2) 1997- Astros make it to the play offs for the first time since 1986.
3) 2005- Astros make it to their first ever World Series. Although they would get swept by the Whitesox.

Why I am a fan:

I love football and I love Houston (HATE Dallas Cowboys)...end of statement.

Favorite Moments:
|
1) Sept 8 2002- The Texans become the first NFL team in 41 years to win their expansion debut, stunning the Dallas Cowboys 19-10 before 69,604 at Reliant Stadium.
2) Sept 7 2003- The Texans become the first NFL expansion team to win two consecutive regular season openers, stunning the heavily-favored Dolphins 21-20 in Miami.
3) Dec 24, 2006- The Texans defeat Payton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts 27-24 at Reliant Stadium, the first win over Indy in franchise history.

Why I am a fan:
|
The rockets are a great Houston team. They are another Houston team that rutinely make it to the playoffs every year, altho they can never seem to get passed the first or second round. We will make it to the Finals some day.

1) 93/94- The Rockets win the NBA Championships beating the Knicks 4 games to 3.
2) 94/95- For the second consecutive year in a row, the Rockets become NBA Champions. This time SWEEPING the Orlando Magic.
