No sense arguing with someone who can not admit they were wrong. The fact is you were rude and its people who make comments like you did to newer people like me who don't know all the rules, don't know what polls were done in the past, and don't know what makes YOU happy, therefore alienating us from being part of the group, are what ruins the site. I don't see any of the moderators berating me and some gave me information politely. Maybe you can learn from them. Last time I respond to you. I don't argue with idiots. I do have not problem with people not agreeing with me, however, I did not ask a question that was something to agree or disagree with, just a question asking for information. If your point was to inform me than you could have done it in a less negative manner. You appear to be the only one who is "quote" stirring the pot. It does not surprise me that you did not read my entire thread. I would not expect any less someone from who acts like you and defends their inappropriate actions. I do not have animosity towards you I am just pointing out that it is time we stop acting so negative on here and try to make this site more fun for everyone. I really miss being able to give out smarts and funnies. 10 resects, of which like others I never get my full 10 only 3, is not enough. I think I understand why you are doing this but I would prefer to have a larger amount. I am afraid what will happen is people will only give them to their buddies and not to the most deserving. Contrary to what you believe your response was negative and nasty. Your statement "Thread not necessary" can only be interpreted as negative. I was not making a scene but rather asking a simple question. Not being very familiar with all of the resources here this was the only way I knew to ask. If you had wanted to inform me that there was a better way then you could have done in a more appropriate manner. This is the exact reason why so many people are disillusioned by this site. If you do not like this type of poll then you have the right not to participate in it. There is no reason to make it a negative poll and to ruin it for other people. I am sorry you do not like these type of polls but when I see a poll such as the thong of the day, that I do not like, I choose to stay away from it rather than to ruin it for other people. Wow, I have not been on this site for a few weeks. I used to try and get on every day but lately the desire has not been there. Today I had some down time at work and got on. Instead of going straight to the trivia like I usually do I decided to check out the polls. After reading this poll and a few others I realizes why I have not got on here in a while. I no longer enjoy it. All of the nasty comments and personal attacks are really tiring. There is no ability anymore to have a disagreement without being afraid that you will be ripped apart in the poll. People can not answer polls that have been done in the past but instead rip the person making the polls because it is a repeat. You know newer people to this site don't know it is a repeat. I keep seeing people write that we want to befriend new members but let me tell you that I have never really felt befriended on this site. I don't see how you will attract new people to this sites because the cliques are already formed and they are not taking new members. Not that an intelligent person wants to be part of the clique but they sure don't want to be excluded. There are some very nice people on here who do make an effort to be nice to everyone but the rest are really spoiling it. I sure wish you would straighten up because I have enjoyed my time on here and will still continue to do trivia. I just think my time at the polls will be very limited from now on. If you don't want to continue to see people leave and you want to welcome new people then I think some of you should really clean up your act.Wow, I have not been on this site for a few weeks. If you are not old enough to move out and support yourself then chances are you are not old enough to make decisions based on the whole person and not the person you see through rose colored glasses. Try having a grown up conversation with your mom and ask her to tell you why she does not want you to be with this person. I remember all 25 and could add some. Those old ringer washers hurt like hell if you got your finger in them. The wax soda pop bottles were great as were candy cigarette's. The metal ice trays sucked because your fingers would stick to them. Ice cold soda in bottles was the best.
