I understand your point but my point is I really don't care. There are a lot of things that offend me that go on like people wearing and flying flags from other countries and then telling me I can not fly my rebel flag. Not standing for the National Anthem, taking God out of the pledge, I think the worse one is the misconception that the south is full of nothing but a bunch toothless, racist, sister loving, Rednecks. But no one seems to care about that are make a big deal there is no cover story about that but let something happen in the south and it is automatically a race issue. I am not sure I understands what racial undertones this song or chant has. The biggest misconception is that the civil war was fought just over slavery. Slavery was part of it and it was the straw that broke the camels back but that was not the main issue the main issue was the oppression of the south by the north. These guys are a bunch of brain dead idiots, but if they went through the proper channels then they have as much as a right as any group to stage a protest. Weather you like it or not they are protected by freedom of speech just like everyone else. Will he be playing on Sunday absolutely this kid is just to good of a football player not to be, Will he be a QB I don't know and all of you can say whatever you want but the truth is you have no ideal and neither does Mel (Ryan leaf is better then Payton Manning) Crapper Jr. If he does go in as a QB the only chance I see him having is to go somewhere were he can sit back as a third stringer for a few years and work on mechanics and learning the pro game. I know the story of Sr and how he was to Jr but he still was the son of the great Dale Sr not some poor kid who crew up in a trailer park in Cali. I don't know about him being a pretty boy but the girls do think he is cute. Jimmie was not just handed a car it might look like that because all you know about him is what you have seen since he got here but let me give you a little background info on him: Johnson began his racing career on 50cc motorcycles at the age of five years old. Johnson was successful on motorcycles at an early age. By the time he was eight, he won the 60cc class championship despite injuring his knee with several races left in the season. From motorcycle racing he made the move onto four wheels and competed in several off-road leagues including SODA, SCORE International and Mickey Thompson Entertainment Group. He accumulated over 25 wins, 100 top-three finishes, six championships, and received Rookie of the Year honors in all three leagues. Johnson raced with Herzog Motorsports in the 1996 and 1997 SODA series. Johnson was a field reporter for ESPN in the SODA series He has put his time in just like everyone else. And he comes from a very humble beginnings: The Vanilla Thing. That's what Jimmie Johnson calls it. He has spent too many hours thinking about it. How could people see him as vanilla? He grew up in a trailer park. He jumped motorbikes and motorcycles, flipped off-road vehicles in the desert, drove trucks and hot rods and buggies. He tempted fate at every stage of his life.
