My hometown is Ozark, Alabama. I love college football and Major League Baseball. When it comes to my favorite teams, Auburn is #1 then everybody else follows. I love the Braves also but Auburn is like a part of my family. My dad went to school at Auburn and he passed his passion for Auburn on to me at a young age. If I ever have kids I will do the same. The Braves are my second love. My dad is not really into baseball so I acquired this on my own. I have to admit I fell in love with the Braves and baseball in 1991. Yes, the same year the Braves went from worst to first. I know that sounds bad but being from LA (lower Alabama) we didn't have a reason to follow baseball until the Braves took off in 91'. I remember being a fan of Pete Rose and George Bret as a child but they didn't come on TV enough for me to follow them so when everybody in the south was buzzing about the Braves in 91' I started watching them on TBS. I was hooked. My other teams are the Dallas Cowboys and the Boston Celtics. The Cowboys in the 70's and early 80's were the most exciting team in the NFL. I remember watching Roger Staubach and the Cowboys and their famous come from behind victories. It seemed to happen all the time. They made a huge impression on me as a child and I have been a fan ever since. The Boston Celtics came into my life the first time I watched Larry Byrd. I love rivalries and it doesn't get any better then the Celtics and the Lakers of the 80's. The battles that Larry and Magic had back then were unbelievable. It seemed like everybody back then was either a Celtic or a Lakers fan. Boston was my choice and I have stuck with them. Its been a long wait for my Celtic's to get back to respectability but its worth the wait. This years team has the makings of a champion. In fact, it could be a good year for all of my teams. I cant wait for the next game to begin. WAR EAGLE! GO BRAVES! HOW ABOUT THEM COWBOYS!
