Having had breast cancer...last year into this one,I know what she must of gone through...years of treatments,test,never knowing if they really got it all...until you know it has returned. They say you have to be 5 years cancer free to be out of the woods (so to speak),but even then your mind is always wondering. She had cancer then to loose her husband and now her own life...very sad. Now Chris and Stefanie are together again...for those of us who believe such things.Having had breast cancer...last year into this one,I know what she must of gone through...years of treatments,test,never knowing if they really got it all...until you know it has returned. I think he should hang it up...too many concussions and he will have problems the rest of his life...if he won't already. These 2 came too close together...many a quarterback had to retire early due to these,and that was back when no one knew what they do now. The Eagles will either win without him or they aren't all that to start with. His health is more important than the game...this from a Cowboy Fan who lost 2 quarterbacks to concussions. I agree with the why are we still talking about this when WE really do not know who will win cause NO ONE has shown to be the one running away with the award this year. We fans can want this guy or that guy or none of em,and no one cares. By the time a player gets to be a junior/senior it should go by the body of work as well has that year. But,that is my thinking and who cares. As far as Tebow and McCoy do you really care if 1 of them wins it? In the long run does it really matter? How many Heisman award winners have gone on to be a PRO and not stunk the place up... I thought McCoy should of won it last year,but for that 1 play in the TX Tech game I think he would of. Should of ,would of,could of.....if you check out the Nissan Heisman voting....neither Tebow or McCoy are getting their vote. Many of the announcers have said they would vote for Jordan Shipley but again Nissan has him in the 1%. McCoy got their vote last year,so maybe he has better luck not getting it this time. Bottom line none of us know and thousands of us won't agree on who does end up winning it. After all those games against Baylor and teams like them, I probably would have 42 wins too. (No need to get all mad at me, just stating the obvious.) That was what you said...so you in a round about way did said Colt wasn't all that cause of playing Baylor and other weak opponents...now your saying the Gators also play weak teams and beat them. Since it wasn't Tebow or some other QB you like better; didn't win all the games against their weak opponents does not make what Colt was able to accomplish any less. Colt is a great QB and a wonderful young man.

Seems a lot of people here have forgotten the stories on 60 Minutes and others about the "homeless" who aren't. They pan handle and get so much money they can live and support themselves better than a lot of us. I be thinking there are several that are not so easy to cover...not just Chad here.... On any given day they can have bust out games...then there will also be the games they don't. Conference bias...more like Team bias. You can beat a team and have 1 loss,the same as them and then that team that you beat goes on and your left out of the big dance. We all know it is not always about the best team going...no coach can watch all the games and still coach his team...yet he gets a vote...the sports announcers can't watch all the games...yet they get a vote... Nissan lets the fans pick who they vote for...then it comes down to a machine who has been programed by people...so,lets face it...in every area there is room for human error. We can all agree the system the way it is, NO ONE likes. Conference bias...more like Team bias. I know what I saw...its not being,as you said "insanely petty to whine about it". When ALL know the refs flag some for this and some for that,while they don't flag others for doing the same things. Like the quarterback wearing skirts,same thing...they might toss a flag for Tom but not Tony/Ben/Vince/etc etc etc. That was the point I was making...you go and make it against me...nice job. A stiff arm is perfectly fine...depending on who did it to whom. It is again 1 of those the refs flag here and flag there. Depending on if they want to walk out of the stadium on their own 2 legs.
