The Steelers have been a tradition in my family for years. My grandmother is a huge Steelers fan. She made the cover of the local paper when i was a kid b/c of her big ass game room (it's not that big anymore). She has 8 kids and they all follow the Steelers as much as her. So i guess u could say its a 'trickle' effect.

When i attended a game in '98. Steelers, Jaguars, 1997 regular season Sunday night OT gm. I sat 20 rows from the field and we had the seats @ Three Rivers Stadium shaking. Seeing the Steelers go 15-1 in 2004, Ben's first season. Then seeing them win it all the next season and then the 2007 season.

Growing up in the city where they play is a start. as well as, seeing the team be good for some many years. they have been very exciting 2 watch, even more recently. i don't remember the days of Mario and the cup really well but i know the tradition and respect it. hoping 2 see them start a new tradition w/superstars like Crosby, Malkin, Fleury, Orpik, Letang, and Staal.

Seeing Crosby except the Prince of Wales Trophy last season. as well as seeing the organization produce an Art Ross Trophy winner almost every year (12 in the past 20 years, come on that number is amazing).

When the Colts won Super Bowl 41 (a year after my favorite team won their's.) as well as Peyton hoisting the M. V. P. Trophy. Peyton is the greatest QB the sport has ever seen. Move over Marino (overrated), Kelly (overrated), Elway, well actually Elway was that good.

Grew up around the Bucco's my whole life. Im not a hardcore fan. they've let me down to many times, 16 losing seasons in a row, but i still pay attention 2 how their doing. I follow the team somewhat. until the ownership shows they care about a good team and stops worrying about the money only, they will become a good team. I seriously can't wait for the day (i'm sure i speak for a lot of people in the city.)
