I am relaxed. I'm not worried. The loss to the Bengals does put them in the wildcard position. There is no reason to think they won't at least get a playoff berth. That said..We still need to correct some major problems. The "returns for TD's" have got to stop! Seven straight games with a return for a touchdown. Yes, it spans offense and special teams (fumbles returned, interceptions returned and kickoffs returned), but these are things good teams don't do. They made a move to bring up Donovan Woods for special teams coverage this week. One player can't change that much usually unless he is the returner. The defense has regained it's form. A reason to be in every game they play. The offense is still getting there. Some concern there. The special teams? I'm very happy Sepulveda is an awesome kicker so far.I am relaxed. I'm not worried. Even with the injuries I'm not a big fan of playing Sid and Geno on the same line. I don't mind it in situations. The powerplay of course, needing a goal later in a game or just a shift once in a while I like. I think it is better when you can have at least one of those two out there for a minute and a half. It also adds a challenge to the other team. Who will they play their top defensive unit against? Even with the injuries I'm not a big fan of playing Sid and Geno on the same line. Whether this incident came about from two fans arguing or not I hope this guy is caught and punished to the fullest extent of the law (provided it is true). I would rather be punched in the face, suckerpunched even, than to have someone try to poison me. I know there are fans of every team that are stupid and and go well beyond sportsmanship and try to hurt other fans but this would be very disturbing if at all true. This comes very close to attempting murder. Not sure how bad they all are. They went from caoching the Patriots to teams with no where near the talent. In Crennell's case he went to a team in really bad shape. Now Mangini is there with no talent. McDaniels went to the team that was in the best shape in my opinion. He did start red hot and now has cooled off but he maybe the only "nut from the tree" left after this season. Weiss has had enough time to win at least one big game. He hasn't accomplished that. Even this year with what looked like a really talented offense. I will write him off as a bust.Not sure how bad they all are. My biggest disappointment had to be the lack of enthusiasm on the Steelers bench. I haven't seen that kind of body language in a long time with this team. Anyway, it's the Bengals division. Unless they try something different this time. The Steelers won't be looking to double team him. They usually put Ike Taylor on Chad. That will be his assignment all day for the most part. They have used that srategy over the past few years.

That's what good organizations do. The Steelers have let many "fan favorites" go because it was their time to leave. They haven't made many mistakes either. Rod Woodson is the only one that comes to mind.
