Over my dead body! I've been sick of this topic for years and I've been tired of having to worry about it too. There has been some real activity recently in St. Paul (state politicians) and I hope they finally get this figured out. It isn't my whole life, like Packer fans, but I just can't imagine seeing my favorite team and most passionate past-time moving away from me. They do have a contract thru 2011 with the operators of the Metrodome so there is still a little time. Yes it is a crappy stadium compared to so many others, so I'd love to see a new stadium built. Yes, the issue is, if Packer fans can really let that hurt them enough to get in the way of doing their job, a very important job by the way, it is only further proof they've gone over the edge in their personal connection to a football team. I get in a bad mood when my team loses for a bit and I usually just find something more important to think about, like family or real life and then it all fades. I've never allowed it to get in the way of my work life, however. There was a time I was doing a social experiment for a Sociology class I was taking. I thought it was a fun time. I dressed up as a woman, I decided to not let anything make me happy. I was bummed when the guy showed up on time, I didn't have my bra stuffed properly yet, I was worried that my outfit would be wrecked by the rain, I'm very picky about my music, I wondered how out of it the guy was since he didn't even have CD's, squeaky noises give me a headache, I was worried about waiting for service for too long, the hot lights in the waiting area was gonna melt my makeup. It was tough to go shopping and pretend to be a woman, I don't really like shopping and by that time I didn't want to go to any movie. The girdle was getting really uncomfortable. As a Viking fan, I have to agree with the majority of the comments here. I'm not excited about this at all. I've never thought much of his bland play calling. I'm no NFL D-coordinator, but if I know what's coming, you sure as hell can bet they know what's coming. I truly hope that Favre and Bevel are doing most of that now, and that Bevel can carry that forward. "Chilly" has made some dumb decisions however and is way too conservative. That doesn't work, you will lose far too often, if you always play not to lose. I believe they should've waited to see how far they got this year and let's have him win ONE playoff game before giving him this reward.As a Viking fan, I have to agree with the majority of the comments here. Yes of course I'd be a fan of his son, because I'd stay a fan of my team, no matter what. It's hard for me to follow because either, a, a team does not represent my geographical area, and b, these teams switch so quickly who can keep them straight. However in this analogy I would remain loyal to my team, no matter who was the QB. Pirates are ok, but Vampires are better. The 1998 Vikings blew that out of the water with 556 points, a 15-1 record and lost in the NFC title game to the Falcons 3. :D Oh yeah, I'm gloating all right. After the '75 playoff game, the H. Walker trade, the '96 playoff smack down and several others, it was SOOOOOO nice to have the tables turned for awhile! My favorite 3 Min-Dal games during that era are: '98 Thanksgiving, 46-36 Vikes win, Aikman has a career passing day throwing for well over 400 yards and still loses. Randy catches 3 balls for 151 yards and 3 TD's, each for 50 yards or longer. The '99 Monday Night game where the Cowboys are up pretty well at the half, Emmitt gets his little finger caught in a helmet and can't play anymore, the Vikes come back to win. The 2000 playoff game, where the Vikes just had a good time all around.:D Oh yeah, I'm gloating all right. After the '75 playoff game, the H.
