No one has said that he would return to HMS, honestly. He just wants to get out of his RPM situation. He is an incredible crew chief and I'm sure there would be every team in the garage fighting for the rights to put him on their pit box. It was evident that the Hendrick employees were trying to keep the reasons for Rick's absence a private one, preferring to refer to it as a family emergency. Although I am not a fan of all of the drivers you mention, I give praise to all of them for their accomplishments ( do I have to praise Todd Bodine and Mike Skinner?) Regardless of whether Mark or Jimmie wins, it will be an historic event. Mark, if he wins, will do so at FIFTY years of age - an incredible feat. If Jimmie wins, of course it is four in a row, history in the making.
