You know, I noticed in the post game press conference that Belichick said that he trusted his team as to why he went for it. Well he didn't seem to trust his defense or special teams or else he would have punted it.

I think there is a rule against paying a player for a coaching but I think that you could hire some guy just to sit there and let the player coach the team. Plus, think of the buzz you would create for your team. I mean if Kevin Love was named Player/Coach, the nation would pay attention to Minnesota except for the few fans that they have. The Hornets should have just hired CP3 as the first player coach since the 70s. The PG is the coach on the court, plus all of the Hornets look up to and respect Paul.
