The 48 team makes history, and we are all part of it as spectators. I dont understand why people are so bitter on one team being dominant. The Chicago Bulls were dominant and I dont remember hearing many fans cry. I remember watching the Yankees and other professional sport teams dominate (maybe not four in a row championships) in their sports and instead of teams crying about it, they improved or sat back and watched during playoffs/final games/series. My take on this years with the fans hating the history they just witnessed, GET OVER IT. I got a funny feeling if this had been Jr winning four in a row, their wouldnt be much hating or crying going on.The 48 team makes history, and we are all part of it as spectators. Im not a huge fan of the 48, but watching him make history is kind of fun. But I can also see where it comes to a point where fans are tired of seeing him win championships. Kinda like people got tired of watching the Chicago Bulls win, etc. But when you exude excellence the way the 48 team has done the last several years, some might wonder what they are doing to so right that makes others lack the competitiveness needed in this time honored sport.Im not a huge fan of the 48, but watching him make history is kind of fun. I totally agree. Anytime a player does or says things detrimental to the team or sports image should be fined and fined heavily. NASCAR has this rule and I hope that the NFL adopts it. Id like to see that money go to a former players union that didnt get LJ kind of money but sacrificed their bodies for the sport.I totally agree. I aint sayin shes a gold digger..... But 300,00 for one truck or nationwide race? She is not that impressive and actions like this may keep other women out of the sport. If she needs that much money per race (imagine what she would demand for one cup race) then let her stay at IRL. I have never cared for her myself, other than bringing more diversity to racing. If she dominated in the IRL then maybe someone could justify that much money. Seems like Jr has been distracted since he got to HMS. With only one win and a hand full of top tens it would appeat that his mind is and has been on something else. Its possible this deal with Dannica could be part of it but I feel there is more than meets the eye. Jr may be the most popular fan, but that also places him under a microscope by the media as well as his fans and the haters. With team mates like Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin, its quite possible that Jr doesnt have the best equipment or the best crew. Hendrix may have put all his golden eggs in to Jimmie Johnsons team, which is why Jimmie is approaching his fourth consecutive championship. Ray Charles could have seen this. NASCAR wont make drastic changes until they kill someone. Thats how we have safety today, Kenny Irwin, Adam Petty, and Dale Earnheardt Sr all had to die in 18 months in order for serious safety issues to change. Talladega is my favortie track but it is the most dangerous for the drivers, crews, officials and the fans.
