How true that is - good sportsmanship is key to enjoying a game or any other sporting event. I had friends over for the Bama vs LSU game last weekend and most of them were Bama fans, I told them before the game started , "I would like to apologize in advance for anything negative I might say about Bama AND I accept your apologies in advance for anything negative you might have to say about LSU!" Also, having been to Talladega twice when fans threw garbage on the track at the end of the race, I was embarassed. I did not boo drivers I dont like, just cheered for ones I do. I am a Carl Edwards fan and the last itme I went, a lady next to me said she would not hold that against me when I cheered for him during inroductions, then to her surprise Carl pushed JR to the front! After that we were friends. Keep teaching your children to be aware of other peoples feelings and maybe they will teach thier children the same thing and the world will one day be a better place!
