It's a flagrant today, not 20 years ago. I agree it's a cheap way to play defense, especially when you make no play on the ball. I don't think it's flagrant, but if it were college it would be deemed an intentional foul.

I suppose it's apropos that in an injury riddled season, the Bulls would be down multiple players in a game where a win would advance them to the next round of the playoffs.
It really is remarkable how many games players have missed this season....
