Favorite Players:
(current and past)
Curt Warner, Curits Enis, Todd Blackledge, Evan Royster, Daryl Clark, Aaron Harris, Kenny Jackson, Kerry Collins
Why I am a fan:
Most of my family went there. They are also one of the few Philadelphia (tons of alumni in the area) teams that are (for the most part) consistent.
Favorite Moments:
1982 and 1986 National Championships, being at Beaver Stadium to see Joe Pa's 300th win against Bowling Green, watching to Joe break Bear Bryant's record against Ohio State for his 324th win, attending the 1997 Fiesta Bowl when PSU came back to stun Texas.

Favorite Players:
(current and past)
Bobby Clarke, Bernie Parent, Tim Kerr, Dave Poulin, Brad McCrimmon, Ken Wreggett, Mark Howe, Brian Propp
Why I am a fan:
The Flyers have been Philadelphia's most consistent team. Every 5 years or so, they are in the hunt for the Cup. Most importantly, they aren't afraid to spend money or take risks.
Favorite Moments:
The 35 game unbeaten streak of 1979-1980, the 1985 and 1987 Finals teams, Ron Hextall scoring two goals

Why I am a fan:
Waiting 28 years for a title was torture, and now its finally happened. Praise Jesus!!!
Favorite Moments:
1980 League Championship win against the Houston Astros, 1980 World Series win against the Kansas City Royals, seeing the Mets blow it so we could win the 2008 division title. Obviously the 2008 WS win against the Rays. We don't win often, so any success is relished.

Favorite Players:
(current and past)
Michael Jordan, Sam Perkins, J.R. Reid, James Worthy (my all-time favorite), Stevie Black, Kenny Smith, Eric Montrose (just kidding !!)
Why I am a fan:
In the early 80's, I was on an elevator with Dean Smith, Michael Jordan and Sam Perkins. Coach Smith talked to me and was very nice. I ended up watching the entire UNC - Georgetown final on television because I was sick from school. I also love the poweder-blue uniform and the old Tar Heel logo (the black tar on the sole of the foot)
Favorite Moments:
Title game from above.

Greatest Sporting Event I've Attended:1997 Fiesta Bowl - Penn State vs. Texas. The Nits defense surrendered 245 yards and gained just 95 on offense. Ricky Williams was flawless. Teams Jon Hates
Miami (FL) Hurricanes
Why I Hate Them: Numerous thugs throughout the years. Classless. I also hate that troll - (President) Donna Shalala. Although I do like the current coach, Randy Shannon
Players I Hate: too many to list
Ohio St. Buckeyes
Why I Hate Them: I do admire Jim Tressel and think Woody Hayes was a piece of work. Loved Chris Spielmann and Robert Smith back in the day, Having said that, I hate the Buckeye stickers for good plays - coaches credit. Their hype machine is out-of-control. Andy Katzenmoyer and Maurice Clarett ? What did they do in the pros? They weren't relevant in the Championship game against Texas. Spare me. Who can forget coach John Cooper repremanding Robert Smith for attending a lab instead of practice? Smith went to the press and was very classy.
Players I Hate: Andy "The Scholar" Katzenmoyer, Maurice Clarett, Beanie Wells
New York Mets
Why I Hate Them: Fans are obnoxious animals - MLB's version of Philadelphia Iggle fans. Owner Fred Wilpon is classless. Citi Field was built by shady contractors (hired by Wilpon - go figure). Jerry Seinfeld's box was flooded (more than once) due to defective plumbing. Stucco blew off the frame-walls of the stadium. In Citi's inaugural season, there were no memorabilia or visual acknowledgment of former Met teams or individual players. Flushing, New York....no need to type more.
Players I Hate: Ray Knight, Gary Carter, Jose "Motor Mouth - Celebrator" Reyes, Carlos "Strike Three Looking" Beltran.
New York Rangers
Why I Hate Them: They are the anti-christ.
Players I Hate: Too numerous to mention
Texas Longhorns
Why I Hate Them: My family from Dallas are Aggies, so I can't and won't root for the Horns. Their fan base are a bunch of spoiled snobs.
Players I Hate: None come to mind. I was a huge fan of "The Tyler Rose" (Earl Campbell) in my youth.
