I know the feeling on the Quick Fantasy. I had gotten into 4 games (sadly I lost all 4), and for a while my record said 0-12-0. It was just recently fixed, so it shows correctly at 0-4-0. Many people already do that. The only thing I see about that is if the first post is long, or has a weird photo that, maybe ok for the CoC, may be extremely 'glaring' on the eyes. Sometimes once was definitely enough. Replying to a post, or photo many times, can add to the clutter of a poll. However, a 'Smart' or an "OMG, my eyes!!", er, I mean 'Funny' type of "Respect" would help keep it simple. Of course, I am not advocating unlimited thumbs up. Just more than the 10 allotted. And maybe a different small variety of them, not just one type of respect. A hybrid of the old and the new.Many people already do that. I believe you and Jess and all the other Mods when you tell us that the powers that be care. They want to make sure that the site runs smoothly, and is enjoyable to the people who use the site. They don't want the site to be deserted by everyone, and unfortunately, as the saying goes, you can't please everybody. So they do the best they can. I do agree with you partially regarding the unlimited smarts, funny's, and such. Seeing someone simply post "I agree with you" getting more accolades than the actual complete post they were agreeing with is just wrong. However, imagine you are in a group of your friends talking and having a good time, and whenever you speak, you get no reaction whatsoever, because they are limited on how many times they can laugh at anyone, and they didn't laugh because they had already laughed their limit, or they are waiting to see if something funnier comes along. Without any feedback you begin to wonder if anyone even heard you. And finally, I think most people, still here, are being patient. Jess and others have said that the powers that be are waiting this new system out, before deciding if they will leave it as is, or modify in some way. (Hopefully combining the 2 systems, I don't know.) But if people stopped complaining or griping about this, waiting quietly, the powers that be may simply assume that the system is fine to everyone, so no changes needed. (Which would upset the people who were asked to be "patient".) btw, I like a lot of the changes, with exception of the limit of amount and type of respects. I have never gone to DVD or game releases at midnight, nor have I attended a movie at midnight. Usually, my wife or I get pass to view the studio screening of movies, but those are usually at a normal evening time. I have been out for the book release for the last few Harry Potter books, but unlike a movie, as soon as it is released, I can go home.
