Tonight's big games include a Cal-Stanford matchup, 27 years after "The Play", hence the ridiculously awesome black and white photo. But the biggest game might be the one between Kansas State and Nebraska. The winner will be the Big 12 North...

But should it be the two BEST teams in the National Championship game? Or should it be the teams who PLAYED the best? There are plenty of times in the NFL, for example, when the best team isn't the one who ends up in the Super Bowl, because they lose somewhere along the way. Why shouldn't the SEC or Big 12 be punished for losing games? But should it be the two BEST teams in the National Championship game? Or should it be the teams who PLAYED the best? Today's biggest game doesn't have National Championship implications. In fact, the only possible implications are Michigan's bowl future. Even if they somehow win, they'll get put in a no-name bowl somewhere, and they'll probably get destroyed. But...

Something to note, with the absurd Winfield-Gehrig comparison, which should never have been made, EVER, is that Gehrig played in far less games, and had far fewer at bats. Gehrig's career batting average was .57 higher, and his career OPS is .253 higher. That's not even remotely close. Any attempts to compare the two of them are simply absurd, and should probably just be ignored.Something to note, with the absurd Winfield-Gehrig comparison, which should never have been made, EVER, is that Gehrig played in far less games, and had far fewer at bats. It's ridiculous to hear people talk like that.
For starters, he got fined the most in NFL history. I'd say that "caught up" to him.
2nd, let's keep this game in perspective. It was a regular season game. That's it. If that's "hell", then it's really not THAT bad at all.
3rd, mangling people's names like that is the most immature thing that sports fans have ever done. It doesn't matter who it is... Gay-ton Manning, Elisha Manning, Ben Worthlessberger, Bill Belicheat... it's all idiotic. It's ridiculous to hear people talk like that.

Why do you even go to a sports site? You couldn't do ANY athletes job, so what's the point of even talking about them at all? By your rules, the only thing you'd be allowed to do is kiss their ass all day. What's the fun in that?
