Patrick Roy...best goalie who ever graced the ice! It was an honor and privelege to watch him tend! Peter Foresburg...Such an amazing player in such a small package. I was his biggest fan while he was in Denver, but when he moved to go to the Flyers, I was beside myself w/ joy (I had moved there -to Phila, two years prior) Now he was back on my team and I could cheer for him w/out getting my head torn off!

| Career Highlights: | Back in 1981 I was fortunate enough to get to be one of the first TWO girls in the country to play high school Water Polo (on the BOYS team, of course!) Because of Title IX, we had to be allowed on the team since girls Water Polo wouldn't happen for another 10 years! We were actually very good, and both were Starters for our team. We placed 2nd in the state (CA) that year for JV Water Polo! Yeah!! |
| Career Lowlights: | While on the Swim team at my HS, I stupidly volunteered to represent our school in the diving competition one week when the entire diving team was down w/ the flu. WHAT a disaster! I thought it would be a snap. After all, I had spent the last 10 years teaching all the neigborhood kids how to dive in my family's backyard pool... Believe me--It's a lot harder than it looks!!! LOL |
