My boss is great and I can tell him to "F" off and not get fired! lol Haven't been there long, he is also our landlord. I'm trying to get the business profitable again so am doing lots of negotiating with the customers to get and/or keep their business. So far so good. Besides, my husband also works for him. I know you both are very excited! I lean more toward Liam also because it is the more unique name. Plus, I just like the name more! Rode in one and had sex in it also (a few times). Was dating a cop at the time! lol Have sat in one once while a Houston PD tried to decide if he was going to ticket me for my inspection sticker being expired until his Sargent asked him what he was doing. He was a prick until he showed up. Wouldn't let me have my drink or my cigarettes (which was legal at the time - long time ago). I was following friends to a club and they were pulled over so I pulled over since I didn't know where we were going. My little town during high school didn't have much so we hung out at Carbide Park (at the time) or at the cemetary. Depended, if we wanted to be around people and terrorize the local police force it was the park. If we wanted quiet and solitude, we hung out at the creek in the back of the cemetary. Got to know a lot of dead people and we actually took care of some neglected graves we kind of adopted. Strange I know, but I guess you had to be there. Night time, we went to the drive in (Mondays was $1 a car load). Mine was so long ago but some things you never forget. After spending all day getting ready for the prom, my fiance and I met up with a few of our friends after pictures were taken. After about 30 minutes of sitting there, looking around, thinking how boring it all was we left. We all went home, changed into our favorite jeans, etc. and headed straight to the store for Boonesfarm Strawberry Hill and met at the Galveston Ferry and rode it most of the night drinking our wine. Had a great time. The Captain knew us well since we seemed to ride the ferry a lot back then (not much to do when you were kinda under age).Mine was so long ago but some things you never forget. Hell no they are not! Benefits have been cut back so bad for the veterans and active personnel over the last 20 years it is a travesty!!! These men and women have given more of themselves than most of us would even dream about and the government doesn't even want to give them adequate health care or affordable medication. Retirement or disability sucks for them also. Don't even get me started on this one! This is one soap box I really have a hard time getting down from!Hell no they are not! You have that right zballa07. They are huge vessels but the quarters are cramped as are most of the passages. I've been on a few that have been decommissioned. One of these days (if I live long enough to be that fortunate) I will get to visit a carrier. My Dad was on several and the newer ones are even larger. You know it! Payback is a motherf*&ker! My Dad said there was always around it and he was a Chief Petty Officer! lol Retired after about 26 years I think, he died in 1990 at 76. Told me many funny stories they pulled on each other during WWII and Korea when they had a little down time. Have a good night, about bedtime here, been a long day. I haven't lived near a train track in so long I had forgotten how wonderful it was to listen to them at night. There was one not far away from the house where I grew up as a teenager in Texas. I guess they figure someone has to man the posts. I know it sucks though. My family is military and I don't remember any of them having the day off, or saying they did. If anyone, my brother would have but I don't remember the Army letting him have it off either.
