since i took a pay cut and our insurance premiums went through the roof last year i pay a full 1/3 of my net pay in order for my wife and i to have insurance...not good....since my wife suffers from breast cancer her treatments run into the thousands every month so looking at it that way the insurance is a bargain..... that being said i want to know what is in the bill. with 2,000+ pages of political legalese BS i seriously doubt if ANYONE can sit down and explain the whole thing in a rational way last week i emailed my congressman with 2 simple questions..... 1 have you read the bill? 2 would you put yourself and your family on this program? i never received an answer....i think his silence speaks volumessince i took a pay cut and our insurance premiums went through the roof last year i pay a full 1/3 of my net pay in order for my wife and i to have insurance...not good....since my wife suffers from breast cancer her treatments run into the thousands...( more)

the first thing to remember is to keep it fun for the kids...at that age i would plan a lot of play with short mini clinics in between....if you can get one of the mothers participate it is a tremendous help.that way you can coach and the mother can mother them. i coached soccer for kids that age up to junior high school age, and believe me it only gets worse the older they get, the younger they are the more fun you will have. For me what is mising is season II is the sense of accomplishment....I really enjoyed improving my rank, remember how excited i was when i finally made the top 1000, and the feeling that i had when i got into the top 100, I even got a "that's nice honey" from my wife for that milestone.....I'm sure we can all remember the feeling when we first came here and saw our rankings improve so fast and thought that this is really cool.....How many here can remember when we had a top comment and got our avatar on the front page for all to see? and the sense of pride and accomplishment that brought. Now all that is gone...... Q bucks are lame in my opinion, there are a thousand other sites where i can play fantasy game for cyber trophies, i don't have nor do i want a facebook page just so i can see the challanges for pretend bets....and the day that i spend real money for play money is just not gonna ever come.....throw a couple more ads on the pages, i don't care, they are easy to ignore...... The thumbs up system may not have been ideal but at least i knew that someone had read my post, again a bit of recognition, the way it is now with little or no feedback there might be 100 people reading it or no one at all, impossible to tell......Even the pq's served a purpose, sure they were misused by some but it was also a way the community could police itself when someone was rude or crossed the line..... The new system may work out eventually, however i feel that it was not thought trough and what we have is a rushed, flawed system with way too many glitches. First impressions count for a lot and they are not all that good......We keep hearing that the changes are not done and more will be added. i got thinking last night...not sure why it just happens some time....the fantasy games with challanges sound pretty lame to me. What i was thinking was why not have open fantasy games? Anyone who wants to play puts up a set amount of Q bucks and the payout is dependent on where they finish for the group....the chances of players picking the same team for a full night of basketball or baseball are pretty slim but a tie breaker could also be included....To me that would be way more interesting than the way it is set up now......what do you think?i got thinking last night...not sure why it just happens some time....the fantasy games with challanges sound pretty lame to me.
