| Why I Hate Them: | I dont hate them I hate the pitcher who was trying to "prove a point" by throwing the ball behind Ian Kinsler. In truth it would have hit him if he had not gotten out of the way. He was mad because the Rangers had hit the Sox a lot {accedentally} so he tried to hit a man who wasn't even the pitcher. He said, "Yeah, I wanted to go in and send a message, and I think that message was sent. Basically, I was saying, 'I'm sick of seeing our guys get hit and hurt and almost get taken out of the game.' I threw it with intention. With a one-run lead, I didn't want to put anyone on base. I just wanted to say, 'Hey, we can play that game, too.' Other than that, the important thing was getting him out after that pitch." |
